Corrupted Files

I am having a problem.  The format on a couple of my short stories somehow has been corrupted.  When I go to editing, they look fine. But when I view them as posted, the sentence structure is all screwed up.  Edit will not let me update.  When I update, looks fine, correct. Then when I view again as posted, they are back to being screwed-up.  What do I do?
