Your syllables are well-done...8,8,6.6,8. Keep them. First, I'd work on a closer rhyme for "disguise". Belie or just lie (falsehood or placement) comes to mind, requiring some rewording. Second I'd simplify L. 4 to "on her heart was a shell. Hope this helps.
