Notes About The Poem

Stars' Reverent Kiss

Written: September 2nd, 2025, for Contest by Line Gauthier ********** The moon rose from dusk with silver flame, a hush that knew the sun by name. The stars bent low to kiss her brow— while night unspooled its sacred vow. She ruled the dark with quiet might— then vanished at the edge of light.

I hope you're romancing somebody, anybody, somewhere, anywhere, because your poetry should be romantically manifesting content to fill the universe's air at all times. In fact, romance should be mandatory, by law, for you, so none of your poetic abilities are ever idle. Sure, you can sleep, no pressure. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

absolutely captivating, almost magical. I loved this line: She ruled the dark with quiet might— your poem should do well in Line's contest. Texas hugs, Sara
