Notes About The Poem

Is there anything better than to see a happy smiling child. That alone can instantly make you forget about some of the horrible things in life. Smile on kids :)

Kids

And from my soul let truth be told
Little ones, in heart I hold
Their little hands, fingers and toes
Their glowing faces, the way it shows
When they are happy, or sometimes sad
When they are good, or sometimes bad
These little ones, that I love to death
They always seem, to take my breath
And bring to me, much love and joy
From every happy, little girl and boy

Sorry this contest took me forever to judge. At work and with my grandkids I feel the same as what you described in this poem. Great message. Congratulations for your win in my contest.

If only we could 'freeze' them just as they are, young and, hopefully, as yet untainted. Hopefully, most adults have kept part of their child inside, I know I have. Delightful, touching read ... CayCay

This is a beautiful piece about kids Charlie, and what you say is totally true, their laughter and exuberance is so catchy that it sets the mood. This gem should be printed and framed. Hugs Maria

It's true isn't it? There's some little ones across the street from me that play out all day. Fun to watch and listen
