Hello soupers and TPS if you are reading this, I know I have touched on this subject before, but why do the captcha code thingy's have to merge so what looks like two letter 'C's is actually an 'O' and a 'C' sometimes I have to do it two or three times (I know I am thick)...I do understand they are needed for security I just don't understand why they have to merge....David

David, have you seen the ones at yahoogroups? they are even worse than the ones at THIS place. It took me like eight tries just getting myself enrolled in a yahoo group one time because I simply could not figure out the letters. It's ridiculous. I feel sorry for folks with dyslexia!! but hmmm, maybe they are the only ones able to understand it!!!

if you click the icon ( two circling arrows) next to the captcha code it gives you a different code, whenever I get a "c" that might really be an "o" i just hit the icon to get a different code

I too have a pet peeve of my own! I sometimes type in the correct captcha and get a message telling me it is incorrect and to try again. I enter the new one shown correctly without any doubt and again it tells me it's incorrect and to try again! This sometimes happens up to 4 or 5 times before it accepts it. Grrrrrr! Has anyone else experience this? Jack
