Why does papa want to sleep with mummy?
Why does papa want to sleep with mummy?
I do not understand why mummy always wants to sleep with pappa. I think papa and mummy sleep together after I go to school every day. Papa tells me they go for a walk after seeing me off at the bus stand. But they come back to sleep. I do not like this. Mummy is not a child who needs someone to sleep with. Pappa also tells me they should sleep together and every father and mother do so. Why? I am a child I should sleep with my mother, and I have been sleeping in the middle of mummy and papa since my birth as mummy told me. What is the necessity for papa and mummy to sleep together? Nobody answers my question. I have asked many of my friends, Sonu, Rohan, Rahul, Arvind, Kavya and Shriti. They tell me that some of them sleep away from their papa and mummy for they have small a sister or a brother and the small brother or sister sleeps in the middle. Otherwise, all my friends sleep with their mummy.
Pappa tells me every time by making fun of me, “You fellow you don’t let me sleep with my wife.”
I only tell him, “Why do you want to sleep with my mother? If you want you sleep with your mother. OK.” I know though he says he tells me as fun; he wants to sleep with mummy.
Ravi uncle also tells me I should sleep in a separate bed as I am now ten years old. Ravi uncle is very fond of me. Why does he ask me not to sleep with mummy? I am feeling bad when papa touches mummy in the night putting his hand across me. He does so without touching me. I just remove his hands as I can find out easily. Mummy told me many a time that I used to keep my little fingers in her eyebrows, and she would feel soft and fine about it up to my four years and my hand cannot be removed from her eyes till I fell asleep. Now I don’t do so. I have grown up now. But I cannot sleep without touching mummy and putting my both the legs on her highs. I can easily come to know if she removes my legs from her body.
Is it a bad habit? Why all these adults tell me I should sleep separate. Pappa also tells me that in the USA and Europe children always sleep away from parents from the ninth month. That’s bad. What do the parents do keeping the child away? Cruel parents! Another thing I have sometimes found is mummy and papa missing from bed for some time. I come to know after ten or fifteen minutes and I yell, “Mummy kahahai. Mummy where have you been?” She immediately rushes back from the other room and tells me, “I have gone to toilet to ease myself.” I know she went to sleep with pappa sometime in the other room. And papa also comes back after some time to lie down beside me.
One day I did not get sleep for a long time and papa was working late night and retired to bed after a long time. I had just closed my eyes, but not sleeping. Pappa called very mildly, “Hai man still awake or what?” I did not say anything, and he lay down next to mummy and I opened my eyes and said, “No. No. Go to your place and lie down there. OK.” I could see some sort of anger in pappa’s face which is unusual. He didn’t say anything and went to the other side and slept.
Another question, “Why does papa want to be with mummy always?” They go for a walk every morning and evening, take coffee together and spent almost half an hour over a cup of tea. Mummy spends an hour only with me when I study and that is the worst moment for me. Most of the time she is rude and crude and I also feel unpleasant about it though mummy helps me in every homework and writing. That’s why I want to be with mummy when I sleep.
I don’t think I am doing any wrong. She is my mother you know. I feel like flying high as I put my legs on her thighs. Mummy is very soft and her flesh is like flower bed. As I put my hands across her I feel I own her. She is my mother. I don’t want anyone to touch my mummy. Pappa asks me, “Why don’t you put your leg on me and sleep?” That I don’t like because I feel pappa’s hard bones making me uncomfortable and harsh. Moreover, papa comes to bed late and most of the time he wants to watch television and sleep later. I cannot put my hand on his breast. He will throw my hand away.
Rahul told me once he wants to put his leg on his sister while sleeping but she kicked him off. I feel pity for him. He is in class five while she is class eight, big enough. Rahul does not want to sleep with his mother as she is not keeping well, and he does not like the smell of the medicine she takes. He feels the smell of the medicine for long that spoils his sleep.
Pappa is a funny you know. He makes fun of me every time. Now-a-days he tells me that he would not let me sleep with my wife when I grow up and get married. He would tell my son or daughter to trouble me by not letting me sleep with my wife. I told clearly, “I will not marry papa.” He has only one purpose and that is somehow or anyhow he wants to sleep with my mother. I told you sleep with you mother. He only laughs and tells me, “You are a fool. Now you have grown up, and you are going to be a teenager so you must sleep alone and take care of yourself. Ok.” He is jealous of me. No way, I am not going to let him do this.
I don’t like Sujatha aunty. She also makes fun of me every time for sleeping in the middle. She is very bad. She told me last week, “If you want a companion in your house to play with, let papa and mummy sleep together.” I know she makes fun of me. I can understand by the way she laughs. “How can I get a companion to play with, if my papa and mummy sleep together?” I think Sujatha aunty is stupid. She should not be behaving like this with me. If I want to have a small sister or brother as Rahul has, how can I have? by letting papa and mummy sleep together. Then how long? One day or more than one day? I can think of allowing for a day.
Now tell me, what is wrong, if I sleep with my mother?
