What is best for America
Republicans and democrats both own a restaurant called "What is best for America." Both restaurants are located on Main Street and are right across the street from the other. The republicans serve pizza because that is the go-to food for events and get togethers. The democrats sell steak and potatoes because that is about as American as one gets. One day America announces a contest for the best cook in all the land. The republicans spend weeks advertising their pizza, their toppings and their finest ingredients. The democrats do the same for their steak and potatoes. They advertise their toppings. Both are sure the other restraint has poison in their food. In trying to win the contest tell their costumers about the poison the other is serving. Neither party realizes it is the same farmer, the same land and the same supply of crops and livelihood that they are both served from.
