TRAPPED: THE INNATE GOURMET SERIES
PROLOGUE
One shot, two shots, then a third!
Suffice to say, Shots were being fired here and there. The whole setting felt like a cubic maze to him. No way out! Joshua, never felt alive and terrified at the same time, his whole life, seeing his life flash before his eyes in this surreal instance.
“This is the right time to reflect on the zero near-death experience I have encountered”, he mused to himself, undertone. Not feeling confident of himself, considering the revelation he had just made of himself, a few seconds ago. Surprisingly, he laughed at himself and ducked, instinctively, to an imaginary “whiz” of a bullet.
Those moments in this “Dream-like” world was getting darker, and darker by the second. He felt being sucked into them so as to prolong the comatose state he was, in the “REAL” sense/world. There seemed to be nowhere out, no matter how he tried to trigger a kick back to reality.
Realizing what he had done, and how deep he was in this dystopian world, he arrived at an inevitable epiphany, in a questionable manner… ”Is this the End for Me…?”
And that was just the beginning of a long array of realizations he would face in this new life he has accidently created for himself!
