To love that strong
Second Memoir:
To love that strong
I was taken out from my apartment in Edinburg, a city nearby the US Mexico border land. A few cops were trying with scorching torch lights and telling me to come out. I was vehemently trying to complete the degree called MFA (Master in Fine Arts). My major was poetry. The very first foundation of poetry in reaching out in the deepest core of understanding through academia. I was desperately happening with personal loans, selling a few reserved gold and yes, there was a nearby pawn shop , the twin jewelers. the first pair I sold was my wedding gift. A pair of gold intricates gifted by my two brothers. The shopkeeper kept me waiting and went inside the premises to get paper or something. In an empty gold shop with utter emptiness, I was shedding tears. Not to aspire to buy these again, neither to mourn for far too long with all these. But I realized as I do realize everyday that in a lifetime we are hardly true to say lovable words to a person your conjugal life was spent mostly. You are also read books, spent quality time with Hollywood blockbusters yet at the end of the day, you hardly have anything left, that is love in the core befitting manner. Everything else is talking in style to uproot this very cause, the integrity of the marital institution, two people building a dream weaver in a mundane trivial way, to beseech , to explore life maintaining this moral reference. With far too much sublimating in mundane you will be doomed to lose you had a say in your matrimonial agreement, and in other ways, you are silhouettes of your insecurities, as you felt abducted and prosecuted all those years for a weird unknown reason you could not replace with. Integrity of American dream. in case of a nuptial ancestry is gobbling you up, would you stand back with a resilience to substantiate the truth to take the moral value of life as it is. God created men equally, you are the unequivocal allegiance of faith under the shade of unison, ever disputed life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, and you are capable all by yourself, alone with the alone maintaining moral compass of integrity before any mike moment in diaspora. I was dying decisively anyways. But I was mourning too, mourning in the heaviest manner to infer the due dilligence of grace in every single mundane way.
And you are the master of your ship; you are the keeper of your soul. In your high and low, in your tear and smile, in your full and ebb and in your mayhem and fiasco and in your tranquil serene, there is faith. you are thankful of your faith in every single mundane way.
and the mother daughter duo. to turn back and to introspect the voice inside your paper space.
I never returned home from you
I never returned home from you
As I was a mere disclaimer, a mere redundancy
I never grew up more than I should
As it measured the cues, the fallen cause
As the day approached the twilight hue
As the grace casted the slender shadow across the forest
From the balcony I saw the dispersing clouds
Those once loved me in the depth, perhaps
I never returned home from your supplicating lips
As there was the beginning of the death, instead.
