Think twice

A woman was waiting for her flight in a large airport, her flight was delayed and she had to wait for several hours. She bought a book, a pack of cookies and sat down on a chair to pass the time. Next to her was an empty seat with a pack of cookies on it and in the seat beside that, sat a man reading a magazine. She took a cookie and the man took one too. This infuriated her but she said nothing and continued reading. Each time she took a cookie the man took one as well. She was fuming but she did not want to cause a scene in the crowded airport. With only one cookie left, she thought, " I wonder what this rude man will do now?" As if reading her mind, the man took the last cookie, broke it into half and handed one half to her. That was her final show...she stood up gathered her things. Later when she boarded the plane, she reached into her bag for her pair of glasses, and she pulled out her own pack of cookies. She suddenly remembered that she had put her cookies in her bag. The man she thought was rude had actually been sharing his cookies with her. Without a hint of anger but just out of kindness.
