The Sparrow

A little Sparrow came to me as I sat at a table on a Sunday afternoon, he landed just a foot or so away to my surprise. Such a beautiful afternoon with the sun shining and a gentle warm breeze in the air. The unusual thing about this is that I had no food or water at that moment, just sitting there enjoying the sunshine. I thought maybe the the bird was injured or hungry, but it just remained in front of me and focused it's attention on me.

I thought to myself that this is strange, this little bird here not afraid of me and looking at me as though it knew me, how odd.God works in mysterious ways, I have experienced events like this before. I actually reached out and tapped the Sparrow three times on it's beak, to my surprise it did not move. Now I was in shock, it should of flown away but remained there.

After a few moments it flew away, I remained sitting at the table for a while, thinking of the event and gathering my thoughts about it and the mysteries of life. I came to the resolution that this was a miracle, God had just paid me a visit, God is in everything so therefore God can be in any living creature. I am a spiritual person with a clear mind, I do not doubt God and miracles. Angels are amongst us, they are there from the day you are born , until you pass on to the other side, Peace to you and God bless
