The Scary Dark
The little girl was scared of the dark. At night she was extremly afraid because she slpet alone in her room.She thought she could see monsters in the room with her. They were shadows on the walls and they were talking to her because she was lonely. They wanted her to let them inside, but the girl wouldn't let them in. Suddenly strange scratching noises began near er bedroom window. The little girl was scared and hid under her blanket. She willed her mind to relax, and they suddenly stopped, but then they started again. She knew they were not her imagination or a dream. She was terrified. She slowly peeked her head out from undreneath the blanet and stared out the window. What she saw would terrify even you. The little girl saw two red eyes staring at her from the dark, beyond her window. She whimpered loudly and shaking she got up to close the curtains. Before she could close the curtains, the red eyes staring at her suddenly fled into the night. The little girl was sure she was safe but something unexpected happened. Her bedrrom window shattered and the red eyes came back into view of her broken window. It creepily stepped inside her room through the broken glass on the floor. The girl was shaking violently by then beause she saw it as a demon with two horns, red eyes, and its scary black reddish body. The demons eyes were hungryfor her soul but the little girl didn't know that. She thought it was just lonely and needed a friend. She wasn't scared anymore. So she bravely asked, "Do you want to play with me?" The demon tilted it's head as if confused. Then, with a low guttural voice, it whispered, "What is 'play' "?. The little girl picked up her doll,offering it to the demon who just stred. Aftera long moment, the demon slowly reached out its clawed hand, gtrembling with uncertainty. The demons eyes was expecting something from her. It was expecting a doll that it coud play with. But instead as the demon grasped the doll, it began to shrink rapidly, its monstorous form twisted into a small harmless toy.
