The Reality of Enigmas

The Reality of Enigmas

What must it be like,

To have the moments of disbelief,

Perceiving everything as unreal?

So many struggle…

To experience a reality that works,

A reality that will be accepting,

A reality that allows one to just be.

Oh…

So painful the feeling of floating above the world,

The world you are taught to believe in,

Where adulthood lures you

Into playing games with your head,

Allowing others to dictate what is real

You…

Whoever you might be,

There are those of us

Cheering on your quest

To find that grounding,

That sense of belief.

Yes…

There is reality in love,

Compassion,

Understanding,

Caring.

Many imprisoned by actuality

Have missed catching the creative train you boarded,

The journey that you find yourself on

To discover the complete you,

The yin and yang of you,

The part that is mystery,

The part that is not.

But…

Actuality may catch up.

The next station could be it.

You are alive

Living best you can

Needing only…

Acceptance.

Trust being different is okay,

That embracing what is foreign to many,

Is just your version,

A version you don’t need agreement on

But one that deserves respect.

After all…

A reality to some

Is but an enigma to others.
