This book is a true story about a British born girl Anna’s struggles trying to survive from her family and possession. The family was stuck in a black magic portal and thrown in to deep dark tunnels and having to pay their way out of it. Rather than pay there was infighting, and the Djinn was waiting for his payment, for ever opening the portal and using him.
She reminisces her side of all that happened and to her possession which didn’t seem right. Names have been changed.
Anna now a mature lady reminisces while being guided by Marcus the Djinn. He talks with her like he always wanted too telling her to quick do things and earn points. Also, someone to tell the truth about what happened and why her family are and have been suffering so much bad luck.
Yorkshire, lovely countryside and Victorian buildings lovely area to reside in. The UK was looking for workers to work in the textile factories. Father came over first, started a job then applied for a visa for mother and the two elder children, kildair and kleamy to come over. They moved to Yorkshire in 1956 from Pakistan, what they thought was an escape from their poor country for a better life. They soon had another five children, all healthy (Truch, Zebbo, Anna, Arthur, Shia). Father worked in the Mills while mother was a housewife. The house was a terraced block in Bank field Rd, up and downstairs, 3 bedrooms, Livingroom and kitchen.
Life was just horrific to say the least for Anna. Forgetting where they came from and what they knew happened abroad. They came from a village where all the family members turned on mother no one would give her and the children the time of day since father had left for Uk. She had no money or house, until father paid her visa to come over. When they came, they had no insight to things around them or what was happening they were like Neanderthals no minds or family orientation but animal behaviour of violence.
What they didn’t know was all that time Marcus was watching and waiting in the shadows, he would play with the children especially Anna.
It was Anna who suffered the most at the hands of her mother and family. Anna got the worst of her mother’s quick temper and hatred for her. Her mother left the older children in charge to care for the rest of the children, and take over chores and help.
It was chaos in the house, kleamy as Anna remembers seemed a bit disturbed in the head and jealous of Anna, sibling rivalry maybe. She pushed Anna while she was sitting on a small chair after her bath in front of the heater. Anna fell forward and smashed her head. There is still a bump to this day on Anna’s forehead.
Anna still healthy as could be after being through family rifts and divorce. Anna tried to justify what really happened. It was as if she was living in two worlds one the dark side the other real life.
Childhood and the possession
Anna tried to think with a clear head, while she was a child, Anna was sitting on a chair watching tv at the age of seven a voice started talking to her. “Can you breathe through your nose; how else can you breathe through your ears” Anna remembers it well there wasn’t anyone around her, no one there. Anna also remembers pulling her eyes and saying to her mother “I’m blind”, but it wasn’t her, it was Marcus mocking her mother. From that day her mother gave her a nickname “blind” that went on for years and everyone was calling her blind. To this day they snidely call her blind, yet Anna hasn’t told anyone of them and all ties have been severed with them. Even if she did, they wouldn’t believe her.
Then at the age of eight Anna was holding a ten pence piece, then all of a sudden, a voice said put it in the crevasse in the skirting board and Anna put it in.
Anna was climbing the stairs to go to the bathroom and she saw a man’s shadow in the bedroom; she got frightened and ran back down the stairs. She was so frightened that it was bedtime before she went up the stairs to the bathroom hiding behind her mother.
She remembered that kildair was a thief he would go out at night and steal things. He got caught and the police came to the door, arrested him and sent him to jail. Kildair the elder brother tried to sexually abuse Anna on several occasions. Anna was glad he went to jail. But another thing also bothered her as life went on. A little boy used to play with her in the garden by the name of Tommy. Kildair didn’t like anyone playing with Anna. Anna saw Kildair and her brothers making a plan to call him over the next day and do something to him.
They called Tommy over and kildair started to jump over the high walls of the steps leading to the house. Tommy followed then all of a sudden kildair snaps his fingers while jumping, Tommy looked while jumping and slipped and fell off the high wall on to the steps.
Kildair quickly ran down, picked him up and vanished. Later when he came back, he said he put him in the boot of their father’s car. Anna can’t remember what happened after that but Tommy died and all she saw was his funeral car going past the house. To this day Anna can’t figure out did he die because he fell off the walls and kildair covered it up.
Just by luck mother won the football pools twice. But not according to Marcus. He claimed he told her the numbers, and gave her the money so one day she would leave the house she was going to buy in Anna’s name. Marcus would let Anna know in time everything was for her. He felt sorry for mother as no one back home liked her and she had been through a lot of troubles. Mother also agreed to pay him back in points when he came back for it in thirty years. Father wanted to be near his sister in Scotland. So, he left his job and bought a shop in Glasgow. He lived with his sister until he bought a flat for the family.
Then Anna’s parents moved out a few months later. They moved to Scotland, there Anna had a few sightings of Marcus, when Anna was nine, she saw the back of someone running in the hall. Another time was Anna felt someone sitting on her bed at night. Anna told her mother but she said “you should look who it was” that was the end of that. When Anna was eleven, Anna thought Anna could see someone sitting on the sofa through the corner of her eye.
The family left that house when Anna was sixteen. But they didn’t sell the house, mother always said it belonged to Anna. They moved to a different area. A semi-detached house, with only three bedrooms, living room and kitchen. It was small as father said “everyone will leave and just right for him and mother”. Kildair had left and moved into a council house with a woman before the family moved.
There Anna felt the presence that a man was cuddling her; she thought that was cute and wondered about it. Then other family members would say a man fell on them and that they were pushed. No one paid attention there was a presence. They all went on with their chaotic ways. There were fist fights and unrest in the house no one was keeping the peace. Everyone was battering each other. Mother was always just perched on her seat saying a lot of vile things to everyone especially Anna.
Kleamy would spy on Anna and report it to mother in hope Anna would get a beating. She wasn’t a nice person at all full of jealousy. She would burn if Anna got anything at all.
Anna applied for college and was waiting on her letter. Kleamy and mother hid the letter and burned it. It was Zebbo that let her know that they had done this.
Adulthood
One summers day for some unknown reason Truch started cutting down the apple tree in the garden. No one stopped him. Like a mad man he chopped it down. The neighbours were shocked as they knew it gave lovely apples. He was cleaning up when he found some antique jewellery wrapped in a cloth. He quickly ran in and showed everyone. Anna looked at it and didn’t look right she didn’t touch it. She had bad feelings that he should put it back as it looks like someone put it there for a reason. Truch went and sold it for money.
Truch went ahead and got married, he moved his wife Nora into the house. Nora was quite clever and didn’t like Anna, she knew that a house was in Anna’s name and they didn’t have a house. So, the trouble started. She got together with all four brothers, kildair wasn’t there, they invited Anna into her bedroom and beat her. Nora bit Annas arm nearly taking a chunk from it. Truch gave two heavy punches to her head. Shia stood at their holding her on the bed. While every brother laid punches into Anna.
Anna was traumatised she had a chunk on her arm swollen and bruises all over her body, she never forgot what animals they were. They seem to have forgotten and pretend like it never happened. She asked Marcus where was he when this happened, he said, “he’s not allowed to interfere until the head of the family asks him to”
Marriage
It was only after Anna got married more troubles began. Anna went to Pakistan and fell for a man who seemed to be nice at the start she never knew him only just met him. It was all arranged so she got married when he got his visa for the Uk. Anna’s uncle had written to mother that kuta had raped a woman abroad, and was talk of all the village. Anna’s mother never told Anna but kept quiet about as if to punish Anna. She let the wedding go ahead. When in 1989, Kuta came to Uk. She laid eyes on him; it wasn’t as if he was the same person. Smelly, a tatie undervest, pot belly and receding hair.
She fought with her mind that it was the same person but accepted it. His hair was frail and his mouth smelled like excrement. The monster Kuta started to show his true colours, while living in the flat. He started watching the little girl next door and was talking about it how he fancied her. Anna not knowing better just ignored him and thought he was that ugly, why would the girl next door be interested in him.
He also acted frigid. He also had vile speech and would often let it out. There was no happiness in what she saw. Yet she wanted to escape the family and he was on offer so she thought.
What she didn’t know was her husband Kuta was uneducated and had his own plans, the woman was to be kept in the house, no money and kept as if she didn’t exist. He wouldn’t even take a photograph of her. She had no right to be breathing as far as he was concerned. She had moved into her family’s previous home. Kuta’s plan was he only came to Uk for was to take money to a better life where he came from, nothing in it for Anna or her children. He played a convincing game until he got the money. He too, knew the house was in Anna’s name and wanted it more than Anna. He also carried a note book in which he would write the deeds of what Anna did to him.
Trouble was brewing.
Moving out
Everybody left the family home except Arthur; Kleamy died in such a wicked accident in 1991.
Anna, was shocked by it if she was honest to herself, but felt a little sad after all she was a very wicked person to her.
Things changed after kleamy’s death Anna was thrown out of the house into the streets. Her mother couldn’t stand the fact that Anna was alive, she said to “why didn’t you die, instead of kleamy” Anna didn’t answer back because she was seven months pregnant at the time. Anna had to approach the city council and got to stay in a bed and breakfast until she was given a house. Her husband seemed more upset about it than her. Anna just accepted it.
Not that Anna loved her sister, her husband was telling her to go to the police and say that the parents had killed her in their honours name. Anna wasn’t agreeable at first, but fell in to pressure and reported her parents. The parents were unforgiving at the time. Then her husband told her to send a letter from the lawyer to her parents to stay away. Again, Anna did reluctantly.
When push came to shove her husband started fighting with Anna that “you did it, I had nothing to do with it”.
Anna regretted what she did but couldn’t prove her husband told her to do it.
There were fights between her husband and her nearly every day.
Episodes
Anna remembers when Marcus first turned up her third child was only a few months old. It was a few days after her mother had phoned her, Anna always thought why? She phoned Anna and said “there’s a man following me, I saw him standing by my chair” Anna always wondered did she set her up, that was the time when she started to suffer. A voice started talking to Anna. “He said can I come in” Anna said “yes” He came and showed her lovely visions and then after he said “sign your name and we will play”. In that he quickly entered and put three stitches in her head. Very deviously. From that day Anna lost her mind
Anna in her madness forgot what happened all she would remember was after the death of her sister Anna became unwell. Anna was seeing things, then Anna tried to do things to protect herself and her children. She was hallucinating. She would see hallucinations of graves, men running through tunnels, people attacking her, then a hex on her hand. She went mental with all she witnessed.
Husband
Anna had three children and the family was on benefits. Her husband was always saying he would get a job. Then one day he refused to get a job and said he wanted to stay on benefits.
Anna’s husband went on a war path and destroyed everything in her life after she refused to hand over the benefits money and put in his name. Kuta had told her if she didn’t put the benefits in his name, she will watch what he does. He had Anna sectioned.
Anna was in hospital being treated. She left the hospital six weeks later. She was hospitalized a few times after that. Until she started taking her medication properly.
Things were that bad it ended in divorce and Kuta taking custody of the children, it went through the courts. Anna lost custody of her children, divorced and was diagnosed bipolar. The husband left and moved up the road with the children. Her husband got the benefit money he was after. He hid some sort of prayers in corners of Anna’s house even in the bathroom tap. Anna wondered did he do black magic on her. He would come into the house when Anna was out and search the place. He wouldn’t buy the children anything but abuse them. He would only let Anna see the children on weekends. Anna bought them clothes and gave gifts on their birthdays. Kuta started beating the youngest child because she cried for her mother. The children only had two sets of clothes and broken shoes. Anna bought them shoes out of the little money she had. When Anna’s oldest child turned sixteen, she moved back in with her mother, then the other two followed. There wasn’t anything her husband could do. In the end 2006 he left the UK. He had the toys in his suitcases Anna had bought the children. He was thieving them from the children and taking it home.
It wasn’t the fact that kuta’s family was having a lovely time. He had seven brothers and two sisters. Three brothers whom had died then his sister, they were often caught trying to open hell and be in a state in the village. People would kick them as they lay in the gutters.one of the brothers burned to death, the other had all his arms and legs cut off and the sister died due to health problems. Anna also witnessed kuta’s sister order sheep lungs from the butcher in order to use in black magic against someone. Marcus told Anna that he too is on his rent book and has turned to black magic to hide his crimes he did in Pakistan. He is in the tunnels too.
Marcus’s arrival
When Anna was hearing things, she would get scared and the frightening hallucinations she saw made things a lot worse. She would wonder about the house aimlessly and listen to the voices threaten her. then one day the voice it sounded sympathetic and Anna wondered, she said, “show yourself” and there stood a tall, handsome bald man he said his name was Marcus. After meeting Marcus and he finally stopped scaring her. Anna found out that Marcus was a jealous Djinn. What he did to her was acts of revenge because her parents and sister paid him to do it. He didn’t want her to be with anyone else but him. The best part was he always sat with her to listen to everything she said and was invisible to the eye. But she tried to remember he was always around when she was a child and teenager. Then he turned nasty when she got married. He seemed to know a lot of things and would help her during the day; at night he was with her cuddling her in her bed.
This went on for years, Anna was on her own and he would come, be nice and show her vision of cuddly toys making her laugh all the time. Some days he would start a fight and tell Anna has to pay for her part of family debt, that he wanted every penny of what he gave my parents and I have to pay my share or I would never get out of the portal. But Anna didn’t understand “what money did they owe” it was only after he explained to her that “her grandfather opened hell through a portal and I appeared. Your grandfather used me to commit crimes; he did not know how to put me back or close the portal or pay for the service. Grandfather ordered him to pass the gold to him but in reality, it was my gold he was seeing, but he never paid. I know you don’t know him but this is the reality of it. Your grandfather saw gold in Hell. He learned the ritual prayers to open hell. He read the holy book backwards, lit candles. I tried to explain to him you have to pay for what you use and you have to pay all your debt in life and be free of sin but he seemed like he was only interested in getting the gold. He saw and wanted the gold, Marcus looked into kunjar,s eyes and down the whole life line and saw all his family. He quickly then ran down and organised everything in seconds. Then he just wonders around arranging things for his payment. He gave Kunjar ten coins.
Mother always said that her father used to play with gold by melting it. He must have been trying to melt the coins.
Anna thought about where they lived back home, Grandfather was the richest man in the village. Even his grave is well presented in a stone casket. No one else’s is. How could he be that rich! in a poor country. There was a war and everyone was taking to black magic to defeat the enemy. Black magic is rife in that country. Where was the portal, Anna had been back home and they had a moderate house for that area. Yet couldn’t figure out where about in the house the portal was. Marcus showed her it was above there cooker. Then Marcus showed her the house covered in a black dome. Where ever a member of the family and those born after went to live a piece of dome would follow and cover their house.
Marcus said kunjar fell in the portal and so did all your family. Now everyone has to pay their way out of the portal.” Marcus wouldn’t say anything more but give hints at things Anna was doing, he was following her everywhere, he would pass a kiss every now and then. As if he was waiting and just following her.
Marcus told Anna that it’s the head of the family that can instruct him, they can pay for the whole family or as in my case it was Anna’s father, mother and sister who wanted revenge on her. He said he was angry and took orders and acted upon them as he himself was upset with Anna. He just took revenge like they asked, sent her to mental hospital so no one would listen to her and caused havoc in her family life. Marcus said he put a stitch in Anna’s head which lead to her hallucinations and sending her crazy.
It’s a game he said, you either pay to get out or go into debt to me.
Anna asked how he spoke to them because they were dead, he said “their souls are trapped with me until they pay.”
He also said
“The thing is that I approach everyone in my portal at a certain point in their life when they are mature enough to understand and ask a question, do you want to pay?, or, do you want me to do something for you? if you pay and leave that is up to you or you can seek revenge on anyone you choose but don’t forget to pay. But it was your father that turned to black magic while alive in the portal and I quickly went to his aid. You know I don’t tell anyone anything much, just listen to them, then we have a conversation and I told he has to pay but he still didn’t stop”
Marcus claimed he was the jailer of all the family and they have to pay in pure gold points to get out. He only followed Anna as she has gold points and he can see it in heaven and he loved her. Payment. The gold points are collected when other people are pleased with their quality of work with what they have bought. He even showed her how gold points are collected. Then he takes it and puts it in the till for payment. Marcus said he would hide and watch Anna just waiting for her.
This went on for years, although Anna was quite creative and gifted, Anna did a lot of sewing, knitting, painting and embroidery. So, Anna would sell her creations and make a little money. The art Anna did she would put up on social media and then Marcus would collect his share of gold points. Marcus would show her some funny characters and it would make her laugh, and tell jokes. He just wanted to be alone with Anna. So, Marcus advised Anna to embroidered a prayer and send it to Arthur. That would pay the debt of what she owed the family. Everything was counted.
Marcus showed Anna the state of the family home from a distance, it had a black dome over it and inside, bottles, ropes and metal pegs. It was everywhere. You could see it in there dark, there was so much chaos in the house that no one even talked to each other anymore and the hatred continued from there. He also mentioned taking a previous tenant’s payment and selling it, but that had nothing to do with Anna, it was Truch that did it.
Death and inheritance
Anna remembered the parents died wickedly, mother in 1996 and father 1999 and everything was put in Albert’s name, Albert inherited everything. One day after Anna’s mother died she went to see her father. He looked at her and said “I put everyone’s good and bad deeds in a book” Anna looked at him; it was as if he was saying he has opened hell on her. Anna saw him stare at her as if he was going to attack her, but controlling himself. She could see the anger in his eyes.
He made sure Anna got nothing. She was left in a council house on her own with her children. Another day after the father’s death, Anna went back to see her brother to help sort things out but Albert blamed Anna for all the misery he was suffering in the house. He was having such a miserable time, not even the fact he inherited everything wasn’t enough, he didn’t sound like a calm mind.
She helped clean the house then she noticed an old lock on the bathroom door, she enquired where it came from Arthur said he found it in the attic,
Anna had always been in the attic and cleaned it and spent time in it, there was no key. Where did this key come from. Arthur found the lock and used it from there on. Anna took one look at this key and never touched it again as it gave her horrid vibes.
She saw eight tiny spiders going round in a circle on a stain on the side board where her sisters cup used to be.
She also saw the front door locks broken which was unusual. She left the house screaming, and everyone thought she was mad.
After the death of her sister, no one talked everyone went there way making it clear they don’t want anything to do with each other they just drifted apart. The odd thing about the dead family members where they all died on their birthdays. Was that coincidence or was it black magic, as it seemed spooky, Or did they complete their lifecycle in the black magic portal.
Until one day Marcus said “that’s it, take my hand and shut down the payment on your debt.” Anna quickly took Marcus’s hand and that was it Anna was free.
But Marcus was asking should I stay, Anna said stay because Anna loved him. Anna thought would that upset him if she said go, as he has been her companion for many years. Now Anna, sees him every day and he tells her things in a twisted way then runs off, even though they still cuddle and sleep at night.
When Anna talked to Marcus, she would notice he would vanish for a few mins or seconds and back to her again. He was going around somewhere but she didn’t know where he went and he wouldn’t tell her only he was sorting something. She would see his black shadow and it didn’t scare her anymore.
Marcus’s showing visions
Marcus was showing Anna the portal door way in her house, there was tunnels in it, there was a small black stitch in her head that connected her to the tunnels. When payment is received it moves out. What her parents had started can’t be stopped as they paid and signed papers in a rent book. Now Anna sometimes is confused about what was happening she trusted Marcus. Her biggest fear was her soul being trapped in hell in the tunnels for eternity. As head of her household, she was paying for six people together, her children and grandchildren. She wasn’t going to turn on her children. She loved them dearly even with all the troubles she’s had with them. Marcus promised to look out for them and always made sure I did the right thing when it came.
If someone wanted to open hell main reason would be revenge. They have to be sin free themselves, ready to pay in gold points. Ask Marcus what punishment they deserve and how much would it cost.
All Anna started to think about was imagine sitting in the portal without knowing, then quickly turning to black magic for revenge, not knowing you already owe money.
Marcus only gives hints but doesn’t say much until he needs to even then he only gives that much information that you can afford.
There was a point when Marcus asked her if she wanted to take revenge, not that she was spared. Anna blatantly replied “no” she doesn’t want revenge, only to pay and take her family out of the portal.
Anna watches herself now, she doesn’t like taking anything from anyone, she keeps away from her community. She is living with Marcus who still tests her, today it was “hurry up I’ve got to finish this and go” maybe he does.
