the pants

“The Pants”

1

“Hey baby what about these?” said the jeans and tshirt guy with long dirty blonde hair. They were in the Salvation Army store in Saugus, MA. He held up a pair of cargo pants to show his wife. Sandra was 5 foot 0 and weighed about 110 pounds. Her hair was dark brown but she had green eyes that could pierce any resistance to her desires.

“They are ok if you’re 19 baby you are 37 now you’re almost 40 you just need some slacks.” He handed her the pants and she threw them on the ground. “I don’t even want to know how much cum is probably still on those pants.”

“You know they do wash them.” He said thumbing through the row of pants. “Ok baby here we go.” He said holding up a pair of leather jeans.

“You know those are actually pretty sharp. Are they leather?”

“Yeah baby but I was joking.”

“No I like them try them on.”

“And they fit. You know I’ve never worn leather pants. I probably should have by now for I am the lead singer in a rock band.”

“Baby don’t go getting your hopes up you know you are just a carpenter. You’re in the union I don’t know why you aren’t happy. We have a house and are trying to make a baby and that’s fun right?”

He smiled, it really was a lot of fun. Deep down he knew he was a rock star and he had a surprise for her Eddy, the sometimes shitty manager, was going to call his cousin in NYC and have him listen to the band. This was the real reason he came to buy the new pants. He needed some new luck and he always performed better when he had on new clothes.

“Alright people make some noise for ‘Unbreakable Bonds’. The crowd went crazy but there were really only about 30 people there. The band had gone through 3 drummers and 2 lead guitarists since they had reached 100,000 views on YouTube. That was a long time ago and as the lead singer came on stage shirtless just the leather pants on and nothing else he felt it. These pants would lead him back to stardom he was sure and together they put on the greatest show they had ever done. I don’t know if there was something about those pants that made him great or if its just leather that brings out the rock star in all of us.
