The Mystery In The Castle

It was Halloween Night. The spookiest night in the year when all of the witches, goblins, ghouls, and ghosts came out from hiding to roam the streets and terrorize people. Young Johnathon was at home debating whether he should go Trick or Treating. He felt kind of old to be going out collecting candy door to door so decided against it. Instead he went next door to the abandoned castle on his neighbor Bradley’s property. Bradley had recently passed away and no one at the moment was interested in buying property with a rickety rackety scary looking castle on it. So as darkness approached young Jonathon stepped foot on his abandoned neighbor’s property and stealthily sneaked to the front door. He tried to open the door and it opened on its own. Without another thought in his head Johnathon walked through the front door. It slammed with a loud bang behind him. All of the lights were off. But luckily for Johnathon in his pocket he had a flashlight which he pulled out and turned on. He walked towards the staircase and began to tiptoe up the long and narrow creakity crackity staircase until he heard someone calling his name. He looked straight ahead and saw no one so turned around and saw a white silhouette. Actually two white silhouettes, one of Bradley and one of his good friend Adam who had disappeared last year. Welcome to the house of no returns screamed Bradley and Adam with delight. And with that Johnathon was stuck in the castle for good. After Halloween posters were put up but to no avail. Every Halloween night a new lost soul who feels too old for participating in Halloween events comes upon the castle and becomes stuck for ever and lost on the human earth for good. So I hope your adventures don’t take you to any castles this Halloween night.

HAVE A HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
