The Millionaire's affairs


Her heart was ablaze with happiness as the ceremony ended. Ma Freighn's daughter, Lisa had just made them proud through payment of her lobola. In her pocket, Ma Freighn had a thousand dollars and in Mr Freighn's pocket , more than a thousand bucks, too. Jojoevicks Murray had just done his things by.showing them who.he was: A Millionaire. Brighton,Lisa's younger brother saw this as something overiding in their family. All was left for wedding!! This could throw Lisa's boss, who had an infatuation on her to hell. He had once vowed to die with his boots on, but would it be useful? To Lisa it had seemed to be a joke that Jojoe.was coming back for her. She was a nobody ,she thought, and could Jojoe waste his money by wedding with her? Not after he had not been thinking of her for the past twelve years.! But he was here and had finished shoveling a lot of money out of his wallet! Callie had changed Jojoe's mind and forced him to marry her by the use of her beauty and Canadian complexion eight years ago, but this year, she failed to bar Jojoe from coming to Zimbabwe. "I'm going to marry Lisa." He had told her and she pleaded but Jojoe just shot a glance at her and dissappeared through the porch, banging the door behind her. TWO DAYS LATER JOJOE sped the car along Cameroon street. Inside was Lisa, Brighton, Anisha, Ma Gay and Ma Freighn. The rest were in a commuter omnibus which was in front of Jojoe's chevrolet. They were going for a party to end 2004 in style. As the long beast-truck appeared in front of Jojoe, he couldn't help it but rather sit still and watch. He put his hands off the steering and smiled. "No, Jojoe!" By his side, Lisa shouted and covered her face with her hands untill she heard the last sound and feeling of her life...
