The Mattress Inquiry

Starting to enjoy the nicest time of year Woodbine received an interesting report to sleep on when an inquiry into how the good fortune happened in the business he began from scratch.

“I ran a fast and firm mattress company,” the elite member in the community stated to the interested party.

“But what about the talent in the commercial?” The representative to the Grey Society who judged winners questioned.

“She was sent to me by the agency, when I bought this place, and her intro read,” Woodbine explained, “Island Belle star of the show.”

“But she was with a competitor brand name,”

“Well, I thought about that fact, and figured shez a Sealy and probably out of the money,”

After the investigation, the representative concluded ‘Island Belle was a maiden with the option to do claiming and there was no problem with the start’ to the empire Woodbine created.

Heading back into the storage office the self-made success grabbed the Lily Sparkling Wine bottle, “I still have a love for Lily,” he mentioned pouring the enchanting drink into a paper cup. Suddenly a figure emerged from the darkness, “you mean you were not hellbent hearing the talent’s out of the money story?”

“Who are you?” Woodbine’s question was ignored.

“I came to this salesroom place on Gospel Way claiming I hit the point in the show where the ‘swing and you're in’ routine jumped the shark,”

“And I did something that put you on television, Island Belle,” Woodbine paused, “in my advertisement.”

“Pitching the slogan ‘wen tru rest is needed my mattress will make you a winner’,” the stranger continued.

“What? Is there something wrong?” Woodbine had an honest fearful grimacing look, “didn’t you enjoy stage time?”

“You loved Lily!” Island Belle screamed.

“She was my sponsor,” Woodbine answered.

Hearing the darken figure turn around and walk out Woodbine refilled the small container not realizing the mysterious character dropped a crucial plot point in the story, “Lily, I truly love you I do not know who that was,”

And instantly Woodbine’s head dropped on the desk, lifeless since something more sinister put the veteran entrepreneur to bed for eternity.
