The Love Letter

Sheila Rose was cleaning up behind her bed when she found an unopened letter. She opened the letter. It was a long lost love letter from an old boyfriend. She sat down on her bed and began to read the letter. The letter was from a boyfriend named Charles Benjamin. Here is what the letter said.

Dear Sheila Rose,

How are you my love? I hope this letter arrives to you safely. I am doing well and am enjoying working. I hope to see you soon like on Valentines Day.

Love,

Charles Benjamin.

Sheila and Charles had broken up several years ago after he had cheated on her with another woman. She had been heartbroken when they had broken up because she had felt that Charles was the one for her. She wondered what Charles was up to now. Was he married? Did he have children? Was he living a life that he loved?

At that same moment Charles was in his tiny apartment. He had stumbled across an old photo of Sheila and was thinking about Sheila. He was wondering how Sheila was and what she was up to at that moment. He wished he hadn’t cheated on her. He was wondering if she was married and had children? He hoped she was living a good life and that she was happy where she was.

Charles wondered if he should call her. He still had her phone number and still knew where she lived. He decided to pray about calling her to his Heavenly Father and the prompting that came back to him was a definite yes.

For some weird reason Charles waited to call Sheila the one and only true loved until Valentine’s Day. She answered the phone. As soon as Charles heard Sheila say “Hello” he got butterflies in his stomach.

“Hello Sheila” Said Charles.

“This is Charles. I don’t know if you remember me but I have been thinking about you over the years and was wondering how you are doing”.

“Oh I remember you” said Sheila.

“What do you want?”.

“I want to make it up to you. I regret how I hurt you. I still feel like you are the one for me. I feel like we are meant for each other” said Charles.

“Well” Sheila hesitated for a moment and then spoke.

“Charles I still feel the same way I felt about you the first day I met you. I am still in love with you”.

That night on Valentine’s Day Sheila and Charles got back to better. They dated again for a year and the next Valentine’s Day they got married.

The End.

I hope you enjoyed reading this Valentine’s Day Story.
