The land of high passes

Standing on top of sand dunes, i witnessed one of the most outlandish haven i had ever been to. Beside the sand dunes were these immense gravel mountains, in another direction were vast green fields and a river as blue as the ocean, adjacent to them were breathtakingly huge snow capped mountains. I reached this one of a kind destination by flying above the spectacular Himalayas home of the holy river ganga. Visiting all the tourist places was overwhelming from the monastery at 6 in the morning till the sangam or meeting of two rivers with bewitching colors till 5 in the evening. Upon arrival to my resort i was provided with the most exquisite apricot juice i had ever tasted. I rested on the plushy armchair situated right across the snowy mounatins on my personal balcony and watched till my heart was filled with content. The next day i ventured with my bike to witness the most magnificent sunrise i had ever seen. The sun emerged from behind the grandiose mountains and its rays spreading evenly on the hilly terrain.I rode my bike across the most superb roads and topogrophy i had ever witnessed. Lush green photographic landscape with a variety of flowers and different species of animals. I then reached one of the highest motorable roads of the world, where the supply of oxygen was so minimal that staying for more than 15 mins could result in severe breathing problems. I stood there, sipped hot chocolate and enjoyed the view while it was lightly snowing. Riding alongside the river banks and through the desert I experienced such immense peasure which couldnt be compared to anything else. There is just something about being there alone and controlling the handle of your own bike, own life that made me feel infinite. Once a very pure soul said
Not all those who wander are lost
Only those who have felt how small they are while standing in front of the enourmous landscape understand what it feels to travel and to be truly alive.
