THE LADY WITH MAGICAL HANDS

Roald Dahl once said, " Those who don't believe in magic will never find it. " And today I feel that this gentleman had talked great sense. You don't have to find magic, because it is already there all round you and all the time. Why, it is already inside you. And I learnt all this when I met her, the lady with magical hands. This happened when my aunt was taken ill. The doctors said that she had some severe disease of the brain and that she had very few days to spare. Helplessness surrounded us. We had no idea of what we were going to do. And then it all happened. That morning when I opened the newspaper half heartedly, hardly thinking if anything could make me feel better, I saw her photo. The local newspaper had published about this lady who was known to cure many serious ailments and had given a new life to thousands who had approached her. My spirits rose high. Somehow I knew that she had been sent all for our help. We all went to see her. Her cabin was small but her presence scarcely entitled it to be called grand. Looking at her I felt like she was something way beyond all of us. I felt as if see could see things normal people could not set eyes on, hear something only the devine could savour and feel something that was out of ordinary touch. And she truly had magic all round her as if she was sprinkling stars wherever she went. It is not her beauty that i speak of , but the radiance of knowledge that drifted from her being. It seemed as though she knew about everything, till eternity and beyond . Maybe that is the way you feel about someone whom you owe a near and dear one. She treated my aunt with the softest of voice and the bravest of words. It was as if her presence had some kind of healing effect, which to this date I haven't been able to lay my hands upon. My aunt keeps finest if health now But don't mind my saying that after this event, I have never met this great doctor, except in my dreams. But if you seem to find her somewhere among you or somewhere within you , can you please give her my message? Please tell her that the world yearns for her magic.
