The HolidAliens

THE HOLIDALIENS

No one would believe, if I told you my story,
What I saw one Christmas Eve night.

The stars in the sky, were suddenly multicolored,
And were brilliantly twinkling bright.

They each began descending, dashing and swirling,
As if to have a mind of their own.

Landing upon trees, and landscapes and on houses,
Whether or not anyone was at home.

I put on my hat, my slippers and coat, as I saw in the distance a church steeple,

When I reached the church doors, I shouted aloud...
Who are you colorful people?

One little red guy, his nose like a bulb, descended into my hand.

We are HolidAlien Christmas lights,
to bring Christmas cheer all over the land.

Suddenly, he let out a commanding whistle, and soon others surrounded me,
They all were blinking, laughing and greeting, so very cheerfully.

The bade me to come with them in the night, and soon the next thing that I knew,
I was a little Christmas light, a bright flashing colorful blue.

I joined thousands landings and lighting upon homes,
Until soon there were only a few.

And the little red one who brought me along, said...
Now you have seen what we do.

He then escorted me back to my home, and then made me the way that I was,
I asked, why me? Why did you let me see?
His answer, “Oh just because,”

There are things not seen, and not believed,
And some things never known to men.

Just know that when you see colorful lights on a home or tree,
You may be seeing Holidaliens.

Among the lights that be, we come in joy and peace,
Lighting color and love upon your world...

Celebrating Christ’s birth, with such joy and mirth,
For every man, woman, boy and girl.

My heart was now content, for a time well spent, and to share this,
I don’t know where to begin,

One Christmas Eve night, I couldn’t believe my sight,
I beheld HolidAlien Christmas Light Men.
