The Great Fall
Mr. Bojosi was walking down J.C Smuts Avenue. The Voice told him to jump. He jumped. He jumped, but he did not fall. He remained in the air, exactly two feet above the pavement and the pothole. People gathered and pointed, ''look! Your grand papa is defying gravity!'' A member of the special forces arrived,'' jumping is not permitted here.Come down,'' ''I'm not jumping,'' Mr. Bojosi said, floating. '' I have jumped.'' The crowd grew. A physicist from Wits University arrived with a chalkboard. He began drawing diagrams of Mr.Bojosi who merely floated, looking bored. After ninety days days the crowd dispersed. The physicist trekked home. Mr. Bojosi stayed there, two feet above the ground, until he ran out of air and drifted away. .
