The fisherman and the Mermaid
There was a fisherman named Joe. Every day he would get his crew and off they would go. They were out a they did every day to cast out their nets. But this day was to be different. When they brought up there nets much to their surprise and amazement they found not only fish but amongst them was a mermaid. They had heard stories abut mermaids but though it was just a myth. But there she was caught up in their nets when they hauled it in You could see the look of amazement and shock. They slowly and carefully removed her from the nets.
The mermaid floundered on the deck for a few minutes and then began to speak asking them to put her back into the sea or she would die. Joe could not decide what to do with her. He asked his crew what he thought he should do. They took a vote and decided it was the right thing to do. After they put her back She looked back at the boat and thanked them. When the got back to the dock The told everyone what they had caught in their net. Well of course nobody believed them because they knew that this was not possible and they laughed at Joe and his crew.
Do you believe this was possible or just a myth?
I leave it your imagination but remember stranger thing have happened and just maybe there really are mermaids But Joe and his crew swear to this day that they really did catch a mermaid. OR DID THEY?
