The Dream
Dreams are now very often for me. In this lockdown period sleep is my best hobby now. And dreams are its best perks. Today, in my dream I saw a lady. She was alone in a white room. Her eyes were filled with water, still she was trying to smile. I was trying to call her. But I didn’t know her name.
The only sound coming from that white room was beeps. What could be that beep sound. In my dream, I was struggling to identify that sound. Who is this lady? Why is she alone and looking so sad? I started talking to her. But there was a glass separation between me and that lady.
Other than light nothing was in that room. I was trying to call my husband. I thought he may help her. But he was not there. What is this place? Why am I here? How can I go inside and help her? This dream was getting so horrible. My body started shivering and hands were numb. My tongue was very heavy, I couldn’t speak a word.
Suddenly I felt like flying in the air. Some hands were lifting me in the air. I tried to open my eyes. I was searching for that lady; but she was not there in that room anymore. My surroundings are full of white now. Was it me? who was in that white room. Where am I going now? Where is my family? Is this a dream or reality now? But I couldn’t wake from that sleep.
