The Dream

The first part of this is a dream I had about a week ago. You know how you usually wake up in the middle of a dream and never know how it ends? I decided to put an ending on it because it was such an interesting dream. I feel like it is a story God wants me to share.

It starts out I have been sentenced to die. I don't know what I was charged with but I was strapped to a table and sentenced to die by radiation. So everyone leaves the room and the radiation is turned on. I slowly and peacefully drift off into that big sleep.
Next thing I know I hear a voice say you have a little time you can see your friends and relatives one more time. They cannot see or hear you and you cannot hear them. So I go around and find my brothers and sisters and see them all one more time. Then I find my God-daughter Jaymi. I can't resist I go up to her and hug her one more time. I know she felt the hug because I felt her tense up. Then I hear the same voice say it is time to move on.
Next scene I am sitting in my apartment watching TV and I hear the door open and my sister Arlene walks in. I hear her saying “I have the keys”. Then I wake up
This is how I think the dream might have ended if I had been able to stay asleep.
I am standing in front of a big desk. God is seated at the desk and is talking to me “DO YOU THINK YOU DESERVE TO GO TO HEAVEN”.
I was scared, I said in a small voice “I did the best I could”
     God said “LET'S SEE”.
All of a sudden the room went dark and a film of my life started rolling. I started to cringe as I saw all the bad parts come across the screen. Then I saw a scale on the desk. One side said bad the other side said good. The bad side started to fill up a lot faster then the good side. I wanted to sink into the floor. Then the film ended. I looked back at the scales and all the bad disappeared, only the good was left.
I said “what happened to the bad?”
God said “NO MAN CAN ENTER HEAVEN BY HIS OWN GOOD WORKS. SO I SENT MY OBEDIENT SON DOWN TO EARTH. HE DIDN'T WANT TO GO BUT HE WENT BECAUSE I TOLD HIM TO. HE TOOK YOUR SINS ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE'S TO THE CROSS AND DIED A TERRIBLE DEATH. THEN HE TOOK ALL THE SINS OF THE WORLD DOWN TO HELL AND LAID THEM AT THE FEET OF SATAN. THEN HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD AND OPENED UP HEAVEN SO THAT ALL WHO BELIEVE CAN ENTER”.
     God said “LET'S GO”
Then he takes me out a door behind his desk. When I go through the door I see it, The Pearly Gates. They were bigger and more beautiful then I ever imagined. We walk through The Pearly Gates. I don't get more then three feet inside of heaven and I hear two small voices yelling “Daddy, Daddy you finally got here, we have been waiting a long time”. Then we were hugging . It was the most wonderful hugs I have ever received. It was my twin daughters, Loretta and Patsy.
I had tears running down my face as I look at my girls. I told them that nothing would ever separate us again. As we walked across heaven I saw my Mom and my Grandma I got hugs from them and I saw many other relatives and friends too. They were all glad to see me again.
Then my daughters and I went and sat down at the feet of Jesus and started singing hymns and praising Jesus. We will be there for an eternity praising Jesus and singing hymns to Him.

I had clicked onto kids stories on the list. They obviously put this one in the wrong category.
