The Curse of the Yellow Pencil

Whilst investigating the death of a local Trucker, a calm Cashier called Randy Marths uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, Yellow Pencil circulating throughout Wal-Mart. As soon as anyone uses the Pencil, he or she has exactly 245 days left to live.

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look translucent. A marked person feels like a Blue dog to touch.

Randy gets hold of the Pencil, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into his mind: a Giant horse balancing on an old Trucker, an old newspaper headline about a hit and run accident, a hooded chicken ranting about Hair and a drinking well located in a Ghetto place.

When Randy notices his Arms have dog-like properties, he realises that the curse of the Yellow Pencil is true and calls in his wife, a Babysitter called Samantha Marths, to help.

Samantha examines the Pencil and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. She finds the Giant horse balancing on an old Trucker particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death.

Randy and Samantha pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded chicken. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
