The Coracle Of Invisibility

One rainy night, a young lady-nurse inside a tent was aiding her injured countrymen in the camp when she was hit by two stray bullets. It was during this time that the Second War of the worlds caused devastation and chaos and almost all people were affected, displaced and disheveled. From exhaustion and trauma, the lady-nurse also lost her consciousness after losing so much blood. She woke up after sixteen hours of numbness and unwittingly discovered that she's still alive. After winking several times, she realized that she's the one being treated and assisted to survive. With a big smile on her face, she was greeted by her female co-workers and soldiers who also work in the camp as nurses. After two weeks of recovery, she was appalled for learning that more children in their country are being abducted by the invaders and enemies of war. These children are sacrificed and killed to suppress the strategy of the defenders of freedom. Being a freedom fighter and advocate of peace, she reneged her allegiance and turned her back from her duties as a soldier -- left the camp and served as spy for the enemies. An old boat or coracle is what she used to travel in different places. For many years, hundreds of the imprisoned children captured by the real enemies are being saved. She was able to hide tens of thousands more to keep lost and abandoned children alive in a secluded place. ... ... ... Before the outset of liberation as the Second war ends, the once lady-nurse was captured and sentenced to death by burning. Both male and female soldiers of hostility, allies and enemies, dubbed her as "Enemy of the Wolves" for protecting and hiding innocent children who never wanted to participate in armed struggle. After her death, over a hundred thousand children from different places recalled her heroism and bravery for keeping them alive. These children remembered her face, not by name, attesting to her mettle as unbreakable and unsinkable. They trooped together and visited an old river (a river that runs from the foot of the first mountain up to the last mountain in the cordillera) that once transported them from imprisonment to freedom and safety. They also litted candles for the deceased lady whom they considered as an older sister and young mother to all. The strong, young lady before perishing neither admitted the accusation against her by many as a traitor nor disclosed the place where she hid all the children whom she saved. This is the memory of a single, heroic lady who was burned to ashes without a fair trial and disappeared together with the coracle of invisibility.

Hi! I really loved your story. While reading, I kept imagining it as a comic or webtoon. I believe a visual adaptation could help it reach even more readers. I'm a commission-based artist, and I'd love to bring your story to life. If you're interested, I'd be happy to share my portfolio.
