Skip and Millie and Toughie and the fox
Another day on Carries QFH tour we visited an older couple named Skip and Millie. Upon arrival the house was well landscaped and pretty and Toughie was excited to get out and sniff around and pee in new places. Looking around at the bushes and flowers all well kept and in just the right place, I thought how organized and pretty peaceful this is. Toughie filled his sences as we walked the yard and then went in to meet the folks.
Skip and millie were pleasant and kind and their home was tidy with memories displayed in every room and on every wall. Skip was a quiet man and you could tell he had worked hard to take care of his family. Millie had a far away look in her eyes as she greeted us and started showing us her memories. Toughie tired and excited saw a large fox figure that millie had on the floor and cautiously inched up to it and yep! You guessed it! He sniffed its butt! Everyone busted out laughing and what smiles we had at his expence or was it at his expence....... I think more that Toughie is a wise old fellow and knew what that far away look in Millies eyes were and found a way to bring laughter to their hearts and a smile to her face. God always has a way and an agent to carry out his plans. I am very happy to have been part of that moment and I hope that, that far away stare never takes that wonderful memory from me.
