Senior Dating and More

Dating ? Hanging out? Just friends? Hmmmmm...Just what is it called when we finally decide to step out there and be in the company of an intimate partner?

Let's face it, when we hit our fifties and enter the senior years we are pretty much the people we are going to be for the rest of our lives. So is it possible that there might be someone out there who will like us just as we are? And will we truly like the person we've chosen to "see" for the person they are?

We definitely know by the physical signs on our bodies just how old we really are, but our minds think we ar4e still thirty or forty. We feel great. We hunger for the same things we did back then including intimate relationships.

For some of us our muscles have started to atrophy and our boobs or pecs have all but decided to just hang there. Our poor faces have new wrinkles, crows feet, jowls and turkey necks as well as we're losing our hair!. All this determines who will be interested enough to give us a second look. it's true even though you may think differently.

As seniors we have many more opportun ities to stay fit than days gone by. There are gyms to attend, make-up to wear, form fitting clothes to accentuate our bodies best parts and we can even have surgeries to retain a more youthful appearance. But alas, we are still over fifty !

Should we be single by choice or otherwise, we still need others in our lives and oftenenough it is the opposite gender. We are from an era where people got married till death do we part. Somewhere between then and now society began to change and perhaps people found it easier to get out of a relationship and so started the long list of single 50's population.

Some of us are truly happy being alone and that's o.k. There are also many people who really need at least a good friend to converse with, go to dinner with or perhaps even to have sex with. So what is it we are looking for? Given the opportunity to have a partner or be dating again, what would we do?

All this lead me to query just what eligible seniors are searching for? Is there a willingness to ask the right questions and are you willing to take on someone elses family, children and friends?

We all deserve happiness, so in your search don't settle for anyone or anything less!
