Second Chance

Second Chance

Bod in the sky watches and talks to everyone in this supernatural dimension.

Every human being sometimes senses that Bod is watching them. There are some who do unacceptable things, and are aware of it. With every good deed done, points are earned in the beyond in the sky.

Craya and Timmy were mother and son snakes that Bod was watching, as they were very close to him. Bod loved them so much. The scars on Craya’s back represented all the points she had in life. Only Bod could see how much she had earned. The test of time had created a notch every time. To Bod it was well earned design on her back - it shined like gold in the light.

Timmy was very clever; he would tell his mother stories and create little objects for her kitchen to cook with, making his mother’s life a pleasure. Bod would bestow this knowledge upon Timmy because Bod truly loved him.

He made a saucepan from clay and fired it in the kiln. He showed it to his mother who instantly knew that Bod had seen her saucepan break that morning. Craya thanked Timmy and gave him a peck on the cheek.

Timmy quickly ran to Bod and said “Guess what I surprised mom” Bod replied “oh wow, I have a little something for you, Guess what it is” then says a poem and riddle for Timmy.

Find, Find the lucky eternity pot

There’s one in every house

Look in the shadows

That burns without a fire

Where all dreams come true

You will never want for anything

If you find it

Look for your dreams

But don’t drown in its wealth

Bod had placed a lucky pot in Timmy’s house, when found he could perform

Magic tricks.

Timmy was on his way excitedly looking through his house to find the lucky pot. He found it in the corner and instantly started his magic spells. This will take weeks to master, Bod thought.

While Timmy was busy with his lucky pot Craya watched and was full of admiration at the attempts Timmy was making trying to make gold.

Bod had also watched a man very carefully through his life. He was a brute and a monster. He had no points in life, even if he did they were taken away as a result of his cruel acts toward his family. This man brutally subjected his own children with many threats and violence.

Bod gave this illiterate man a chance to redeem himself, in hope that he would turn his life around and do good acts. He had one daughter who tried her best but his anger always prevailed. She couldn’t ever please him, no matter what she did. He was always aggressive toward her. It was as if he resented her presence.

It suited him that she cooked and slaved for him, other than that she was always being walked over. So, Bod one day told him to take some eggs and place them in his garden, for an animal. The man agreed reluctantly, despite Bod’s intention of helping the man in an attempt to earn some points.

Bod told the man that there was an innocent child, coming to his garden. A little snake with his mother and that they have earned a lot of gold.

The brute of a man had misunderstood Bod. He thought that the child and mother were bringing money and objects of value. In truth, it was her wisdom which she had gained over the years, yet the man could not see that. It was Bod that told him that the snakes were coming and there was nothing to fear from them.

Bod whispered to Craya, “Today, there will be a man feeding little children in his garden, on the pathway to the lake. Take Timmy there and he will be fed well.”

Craya whispered, “Thank you Bod.”

Craya got Timmy ready and made her way to the garden. She spotted the man. He was putting food by the bush. Craya said to little Timmy. “There Timmy, get your food quickly.” Timmy wandered forward into the garden.

Craya had been momentarily distracted upon sighting birds, flying into the distance. Within that moment, the man had caught little Timmy and battered him to death, full of rage when he had learned that the child had brought no gold with him.

The man moved back indoors without another thought at what he did.

Craya had turned back, only to be struck with horror at the sight of her child. She could not move, nor could she scream – she was left standing alone.

After what had felt like an eternity, she had finally mustered enough strength to drag herself to the body left behind.

She felt her eyes burning in anger, cursing the man in her head and swore to kill him.

Craya began carrying Timmy back home, contemplating why such a cruel thing could happen to her precious child. She could fathom this, and so her thoughts turned to that of revenge.

Craya wanted to die to be with Timmy once again, however wanted to seek revenge first.

Once she got home, Craya had whispered to Bod, “I truly loved you and believed that this man would feed my child. Look at what he has done.”

Bod told her if anyone would cry, it would be the man’s daughter and that she would have the choice, with her points, to pay off her father’s time in Hell.

“If I enter his home and kill him, it still won’t be enough. His daughter may buy him out of hell. I want her to know why I am about to kill him -

I want him to suffer the pain that I have been struck with.”

“You know the laws of the beyond and Hell. He will be sent to Hell, where he will suffer for eternity. Do what you have to do, and don’t dismay, there’s hell to pay for that cruel act,” said Bod.

The daughter of the man was sitting in her room when Craya arrived by weaving herself through a crack in the wall.

Craya asked, “Say, would you buy your father out of hell if I told you what he did to my child?” The girl had listened to her story. She understood everything Craya had told her.

The girl replied “no, I wouldn’t. This has caused me so much grief. It is revenge that you are seeking, but believe me, now and forever, I would never buy my father out of hell.”

Craya went downstairs where the man was sitting. The man saw Craya approaching and didn’t have a chance to move. Within a split moment, she had struck and bit the man. He struggled to breathe and collapsed, dying not long after.

Craya left the house in a lot of pain – the thoughts of Timmy had flooded her mind. She struggled to reflect on the actions she took against her son’s murderer.

She approached Bod and confessed to what she did. Craya expressed her pain and begged Bod to take her life, so that she could be with Timmy once again

.In an instant, Bod took Craya and placed her with Timmy in the beyond. There, she played with Timmy for eternity.
