Second Amendment


She was twelve years old and at the 'know it all' stage.

"You need to wear sun-block, Kyla." her frustrated mother said sternly.

"I don't want to!" Kyla complained.

"And you're not going out without covering your arms! You don't want to be getting skin cancer, do you?"

"Mother!" Kyla huffed. "You can't make me anyway" the young girl told her mother smartly. "It's in the Constitution."

"What's in the Constitution? What on earth are you talking about?" her baffled mother asked.

"The Second Amendment, mom. It says right there that I have the right to bare arms!" Kyla announced triumphantly.
