Scene 1 Take 6

Every step feels like a hurricane or twister, and it’s not child’s play

I keep letting go of the notebook, guess it’s time to review the frames

You can never walk on water if you don’t first crawl with faith

Insert cliché: life is a movie; so why do we choose to keep reliving the scene when hope slips through the crack like the regret you allowed to happen

When His spirit whispers directions to us, we often treat the truth like rumors

Going into a life questioning spiral causing dizziness, aka indecisiveness, what, who, where, when, how, why, why, why the lack of motivation, depression, fear and so on…

We look at the gospel like gossip instead of instructions

Then the ways of the world become our heartbeat, choking out our God given breath

We choose not to see the sun then questions why these cloudy thoughts bring an unwanted storm

I wake up, I go to work, I run errands, I read, I work out, I do my best to provide, and it’s a productive day, right?

Then tomorrow comes and completely forgets about yesterday

You see on tomorrow my mind erases any progress made

I’m learning how to push through as the knife is being pushed through my back

Success is not a label it’s learning how to push you

We all know the end of the movie but right now I am stuck on the 2nd take

Listening to a second opinion only keeps you in second place

Don’t misplace your I.D. and if you do, like me simply remind yourself I once was lost but now I am found

Oh, there’s my wallet…it’s so nice to be seen

But we give more sight to social eyes that don’t even know half of the story

Instead of the eyes that saw all when there was nothing

They say write your own story, but mine was already written by the author and finisher of my faith

I’m just co-writing these words so if life brings writers block it’s not because I can’t shoot, it’s because I didn’t read

Between the lines it’s not a game more like war of the spiritual form

So, here we go again take 3, shooters shoot and I’m going for three

So, keep practicing your form like this isn’t even my final form

Allow Him to mold you into the best version of yourself

Remember life is cinematic but that doesn’t mean you have to live in slow motion

Ok take 4: stay focused and be the star of this motion picture

Picture this: the creator of the stars sees you shining brighter than all the stars

So, let’s go the time is now, the journey is ongoing so keep looking forward

Don’t let the ceilings keep you from looking up

Don’t put limits on yourself, when God who is within you says impossible is nothing

Not adidas, three stripe life because His spirit is within me

Three stripe life because I am healed by His stripes

Three stripes but even on strike three I wont strike out

This is the crescendo, He’s too good for me to be silent like turn down for what

This is the requiem because the old me is dead so allow me introduce the new creation

The rise because He rose, so I will bloom like a beautiful rose

Don’t break character your identity is found in Christ so break chains

Bringing change because you are not just leftover change

You are priceless

p.s. life is a movie, don’t watch it, live it…this is part two, end scene...
