Pure Harmony: Episode One
PURE HARMONY: Ep. 1
The Old Beginning
I greeted my fellow Puritan and twin with open arms, as he emerged from the water, and set foot in the Kominato Rocky Shore for the first time in 3 months. I then bowed my head in respect before I spoke.
"How was Vietnam?" I said, lifting my arms above my shoulders.
Fon stroked his hair, flicked his wrist, and he was all dry. "Too warm." he said.
"I wanted to live in sunlight, not a microwave! It gets my skin dry."
We both laughed. Fon was a very pale man, but he liked sunlight. Hot weather makes his skin fall apart.
Fon continued. "I mostly stayed in the cool water, On the plus side, every once in a while, some really good food lurks on the beach."
I smiled as much as I laughed "Fish goes good with the abundant earthly flesh, eh?"
Fon grinned "Yeah. But you need to reccomend a better place to sleep in the shore, Baldie."
"It's 'Payu.' and I have exactly four hairs." I clenched my fists, holding in my laughter.
Fon rubbed my virtually bald head. He was quite taller than me. I laughed almost as if I was insane, then quickly controlled myself.
"I'm just glad you're back, Fon."
"Yes, but shouldn't one other-"
"Oh my! I mean, you came quite early, but...i'll call him.
"HOOOH!" I screamed to the sky, and lo, my other brother, Nokuk jumped from the forest, rising until he was a dot, then dived, and descended with a gentle landing. He had black, spiky, short hair, and was sixteen. 3 years younger than me and Fon.
Fon and I spoke in unison. "Finally, Division Storm is united."
Nokuk looked up to me and spoke.
"Brother Payu, how do you plan on cleansing the earthly bipedals?"
"Since we cannot change their ways, we must take their lives."
Nokuk nodded once. "Good." He looked at Fon.
"Now that you're here, you can launch the wave, in case things get out of hand. Until then, keep watch for earthly flesh. and capture them. Payu and I will take care of the tourists. Payu will take the highways and streets, and I will go further inland, through the trails and busy towns."
"Agreed" said Fon and I in perfect unison.
Nokuk outstreched his arms as Fon sank nose deep into the water, and I gently floated towards the highway, and landed in the middle of the road."
"Operation Hypnosis will begin now."
...and we went our seperate ways.
