Oluseyi

Oluseyi Macaulay Akinbami is a scholar, thinker, and writer whose life work is defined by an exhaustive search for spiritual truth. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and educated at both the University of Lagos and the University of Alberta, Oluseyi’s perspective is shaped by a rigorous academic background and a lifelong commitment to the Christian faith.
Raised in a ministerial home, Oluseyi transitioned from a youth of "ebullient" curiosity to a disciplined investigation of life’s meaning. After exploring the limits of secular science and literature including an intensive study of Shakespeare and ancient historical documents he found his anchor in the Bible. He views the Scriptures as the ultimate "Divine Science," a compass that transcends the "vanity fair" of modern life.
An "iconoclast" by nature, Oluseyi uses poetry and prose as a vent for his deep-seated inquiries into the human condition and the divine. He remains a dedicated student of the Word, seeking to understand the immutable truths of God through a life of solitude, reflection, and relentless investigation.
