Music and new pianos
2026.01.03 @ 12:45:00 Recently, with the festive seasons, the venue I have been playing piano closed. I planned to play at MC during the Christmas and New year holiday. I went back there on Tuesday 2025.12.23, after five months away, again I was deterred by the music in the back ground of the centre. I did not visit there until the New Year Eve. On Wednesday 2025.12.24, I visited the Great Ocean Road with my sister. It was her first trip by coaches. We, first enjoyed the morning fresh air in Geelong. I sat at my favourite seat which was damaged. The trip to Apollo Bay was disrupted by a road accident. Instead of travelling along the coast line, the route diverted to an inland from Lorn to Apollo Bay. This delayed and affected the remaining of the trip. Unfortunate for my sister, the trip excluded all the sceneries visits, the coach went past these places and we only had a glance of the view from a distance: The twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, Lonsdon bridge, Bays of Island, Peterborough and Port Campell Bay. There was moment, I felt missing JC who visited Apollo Bay with me on 2025.04.04. Friday, Boxing day, I went to Preston Market for the first time, not only it was closed, but the two pianos were damaged and old. I then decided head down to South Yarra's. Here, a young man was playing. He told me about a piano across the road. One hour later, with some effort, I found the up right piano 'Kaiser" in the foyer by the lift. By Sunday, two days later, the piano was no longer in sight. Monday 2025.12.29, I had dinner with my son's at Guillaume. Tuesday, 2025.22.30, I went to Geelong. This time I headed up to the Botanic garden and then had a wonderful swimming time at the Eastern Beach Swimming Enclosure. Wednesday, 2025.12.31, finally, the New Eve was here. I visited MC and played the piano. It was here, on the second day of the New Year, I played "The Final Untitled Named Song". Today, when I arrived, the piano was occupied by an elderly man (James) who played "Prelude ...". I started chat to him without realising he was recording his playing. He took a break and after hearing me playing, he disclosed to me a piano at the Seven Creek Bistro in Euroa. I asked if he would travel with me to this place. I rang the Bistro, and was told, it would be closed on New Year day. It would re open on Saturday 2026.01.03, when I planned a day trip to Warrnambool to swim on the warm weather day which is today. Well, one Saturday, I will visit and have my fingers fiddle on the keys of this baby grand piano Yamaha at the Seven Creek Bistro.
