Lost love

How many years have gone by since my beloved died, and here I sit Oh, I do try to forget our time and our lost lives. How it seems so long ago her life did fill our happy home, and yet no more will I see her laugh and dance and sing and be. I can't forget that unpleasant day that did knock to take her away and leave me alone here to say how I miss her every day. That unhappy day did go like something from a horror show, the sight of my beloved, her hair in such a mess. Our love did end that very day, and here I write and try to explain our love was real, but you must understand there's a point when love must end.
