Justifiable Fragrements

The English language is constantly changing. Words constantly get added to the dictionary and people like to simplify things. User friendly is trumping pride and washing away integrity. Equality brings a mixture of beliefs and only the strong will survive. Persuasion seems to talk its way into our lives and we seem to always lend him our ears. Gravitationally, we are drawn to the land of candy canes and gum drops. According to the hand book we are all sinners; seems like that word shouldn't feel so wrong. Are we all that terrible that something we all have in common is to enjoy things that someone a long time ago deemed as unacceptable behaviors? We do this willingly and without question. We follow the leader, a leader we do not know in a direction we didn't choose. We refuse to trust a neighbor and we lock our doors no matter what. We accuse our fellows and preconceive assumption. How is it so easy for us to believe in the rulings of dead people from long ago? We've been evolving since evolution and revolving since resolution. Change is needed for growth. Otherwise we will just keep spinning our wheels. Repeating the lives of the dead and staying in this loop. Pieces of me are fading into fragmentsand I am refusing to believe even with proper justification. Left in the dark and in the light they are turned into stone. It’s the same brain wave that is unable to accept the possibilities of justifiable fragments.
