Just why.
Early Morning and Julia was in her bed just awake. She was thinking of her wedding. Happy finally she will be able to move on in life, mind you she was twenty-one. She imagined herself busy and rushing around arranging the wedding. She had bought some items for her flat she may need, she was so excited.
There was a push at her bedroom door, her mother walks in saying “I’m thinking of marrying your elder sister to your fiancé”
Julia was gob smacked. She just stared at her mother. Not being able to say anything in her defence she just watched her mother storm out. Was she a mad woman or the fact the older sister couldn’t find a man. Until her wedding her mother and sister gave her so much some grief. All her family turned against her. Julia just had a registry office wedding with only one guest she met on the street. There was no pictures, flowers or cake. The wedding dress was a dress Julia already had in her drawer. She packed her things in the middle of the night and left. No one even said goodbye.
