HOW DOES IT FEELS?

I was in my class waiting for the class to start, while all my classmates started discussing different topics. Suddenly one of them shouted, “Guys do you know what a panic attack feels like?” every eye was lit with fascination mine too. They all started talking about anxiety, and depression. I was listening to all their questions and the points they were making, but then someone else shouted again, “I have felt it”, and the discussion became intense. “It feels hard, hard to breathe like…”

“Like you have air but your lungs are still struggling to breathe, everything becomes silent even your voice gets scared to come out. Your blood vessel starts bumping in your ears. Your mouth, and your throat all become dry, your vision becomes blurring, your mind loses all its ability to think, and all you want is to run but your feet freeze to the spot. Your hands and body started shaking in fear of something unknown. You’re gasping for air but it never comes...” I completed the lines he started. I could feel everyone was shocked at my words including me.

“How do you know” one asked me.

“I thought it was normal,” I said silently feeling all the eyes were on me, watching me.
