Heyyyyyy Cindyyyyy

Heyyyyy Cindyyyyyy!!!!!!

Chapter I

old story

sad but true

poppa weds a sexy shrew

drags her home

with kids

one two

step mom likes to live in style

dollar signs behind her smile

daddy croaks from too much uh hu hu guess

leaving kinder in a mess

Cinderella sweet and dimpled

young and fair and never pimpled

forced to work below the stairs

for the step grunts, unawares

that by rights the place is hers

steppers not included in the will

ya see he died of an overdose of rumpy pumpy

before signing the new one.

Chapter II

step mom found a greasy lawyer

more twists than a snake with the bends

dazzeled Cindy with his talk

she never questioned never squawked

now Cindy sleeps beside the fire

friend to mice, a horse, some birds

this what comes of deprivation

too much imagination

and borderline starvation

of course.

Chapter III

comes a gilded invitation

from the royals of the nation

for all the young unmarried girls

to come on over and take a whirl

for the hand of Princeypoo

who knows luck may smile on you

sister fat and sister thin

uglier than the seven sins

primped and practised courtly manners

dancing with out kicking shins

curtsies and some modest looks

eating all Miss Manners Books

Chapter IV

while below in isolation

Cindy dreams of Princeypoo

up to her elbows in the suds

washing sisters manky duds

unspoiled Cindy in the kitchen

working hard and never bitchin

singing love songs to a horse

Chapter V

comes the night of the do

sisters dressed

in french designers gowns

guaranteed to snag a prince

do you believe it?

swan and swirl around poor Cindy

poking tongues out acting giddy

sneering coldly these two witches

sweep in grandeur out the door

trailing TP across the floor

poor old Cindy got the blues

curls up with the nightly news

Chapter VI

with a tinkle and a ting

up pops a fairy

or the next best thing

waving a wand around her head

raises Cindy from her slump

dresses her in regal threads

whomps the horse and minnie mice

and with wandish gesture thrice

makes the grandest pumpkin coach

blue velvet interior, four wheel drive

stereophonic sound and incidentals

real nice!

poof she goes and they are gone

watch it dearie the fairy calls

leave the ball as midnight falls.

Chapter VII

how the sights ad sounds enthral her

entrance grand, floats down the stair

into gob smacked prince’s arms

smitten hard by Cindy’s charms

36.24.34 blonde, blue eyed go figure!

dance and nibble cold buffet

time in thought, so far away

just before the stroke of twelve

Cindy finally gets her act together

high tails it for home leaving

behind one stylish pump on the steps

on castle stair.

hear the moans, disgruntled rantings

step sisters left the ball still wanting

for a dance with handsome prince

wall flowered for some foreign dish

Cindy kept her secret cool

stowing remaining shoe behind a brick

in the kitchen fireplace, slick

Chapter VIII

hue and cry about the land

find the dish for princes hand

to wed her was his only goal

searched the gentry high and low

finally came to step moms house

placed the shoe on every foot

even the old bat wangled a look

fat step sis broke the shoe

cutting off a toe or two

Chapter IX

oh crumbs lets cut to the chase

Cindy got to wed her fella

moved into the castle grand

steps got 15 to 20

for felonious deeds

the lawyer got disbarred

Epilogue

the moral of this wordy ditty

wait for it ‘cause its not pretty

best you don’t mess around in fairy tales

“ya gits stomped.”
