Halfbies: Chapter 2

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate walking? Being able to fly, and not being able to do so is the most PAINFUL thing ever! How do normal people do it?!

One foot in front of the other?

Thanks, Captian Obvious. But for real, it's terrible. Maybe if I'm quick no one'll notice me! I was about to unfold my wings before I hear, "CeCe!!" I look back, I see a girl with an undercut with a smile from ear to ear.

"Westley? H*** it's been years!" I exclaimed, she ran up to me and wrapped her arms around me.

"I know!! How's it been-- Wait actually, THE H*** YOU DOING IN COLORADO?" She yelled. Now that it occurs to me the last time I saw her it was when I was on vacation.

"I live here now, I'm on my way to school. I go to the high school down the road," I said "Arizona is WAY to hot, Y'know."

She chuckles, "You go to Cole? Sweet, I do too!" She exclaimed, "I can show you the way."

Great, and you were about to get yourself caught, saved by the West!

"Put a cork in it." I muttered.

"Huh?" Westley looked at me confusedly.

"Nothing! Let's move!!"
