Funding The Fun

In a town known for its game playing Anita Gordon who was a Saint for handing out silver dollars to children approached a maiden who was claiming to have issues.

“Tracy DiVincenzo,” she remarked, “do you have a second.”

“Yes, Miss Gordon, I do have a second,” the young innocent girl answered.

“You know Marie was a clear favorite and truly was the winner today,”

“I know that Miss Gordon,” Tracy battered her youthful eyes, “and I also know that Dorita’s Happy to be in the show position over there.”

Turning around Anita noticed the child trying a dance step, “my father has a nice allowance and is claiming that he can fund a production here at Arcadia.”

Walking over to the elementary size stage Anita smiled, “you want to put your left foot in front then do the spin.”

Looking at her Dorita thought, “You want me to put my left foot in front before spinning around?”

Yeah, fore left in place than do a spin.”

Thinking again knowing there was no payout for the show position and participating was considered volunteer service Dorita decided to practice on what made her a clear favorite.

“What is that?” Anita inquired.

“It is what made me a clear favorite in the show,” Dorita paused, “a triple tap.”

“Wow,” Anita commented when a winning individual just entered,

“It’s my father, Dark Vader,” Tracy introduced with a sneer.

“You have to excuse my daughter; I just do not believe in having any payouts for the show positions.” Mr. Divincenzo explained, “but I still have an allowance to do some claiming and I decided on funding a show.”

“And not pay talent,” Anita defended her turf putting her arm on the concession counter, “Cal can you bring out some bread, I need to chew on something.”

“Saint Anita,” the deep pocket with holes individual stated, “I am a winner at a secret club and if Id told you about the place, then,”

“There would be a discretionary day for the show’s support staff,” Anita interrupted grabbing a piece of bread, “do you know why I eat bread when I am in a professional meeting.”

“I assume it goes great with water,”

Watching Anita stuff, her face Mr. DiVincenzo turned his attention to the colorful light display shining down on Dorita, “Mr. Vader, can I show you my triple tap?”

“Sure, you can and afterwards you can play some video games over there with my daughter Tracy.”
