Fate?

The freshest rain water The mid morning sun The dew beading off the leaves The day has begun The drive thru is empty My donut is fresh my coffee made right The radio plays my favorite song I don't hit a single red light If I had to wait in line for my coffee Or stop constantly at every stop sign I would not have arrived at this exact time. The time my eyes met yours And yours had met mine U were going down the stairs As I was going up I usually use the elevator But today the button was stuck. We spoke not a word but shared a quick smile I got to my desk put my papers in a pile I thought to myself who was that man I've never seen him before Will I ever see him again? U thought for a moment I rose from my chair Began running to the exit And flew down the stairs I get to the door at the bottom And he is nowhere to be found Suddenly the door shakes From a loud sounding pound I open the door My eyes blinded by sunlight There stood the man from the stairs Could he be Mr.Right? He spokr so softly so calm and so deep "Your the most beautiful woman I ever did see" I couldnt respond I was in shock this was new I shook my head yes he said 'I was coming to find you "I don't know why but I just couldn't leave" I swallowed and said "why" I wanted to believe. My day was a mess until I saw you I woke up late couldn't find my left shoe I forgot my lunch on the table my wallet and phone Then to top it off My truck broke down in the side of the road. I came to the front desk to use the phone then headed upstairs to stay warm as I waited for the tow. I couldn't wait for this day to be through That is of course until I met you" I then said "My day was going unusually right. There was no waiting in line for breakfast I hit every green light The elevator was broken it's the 1st time I've used the stairs If any one thing was different I wouldn't have been there." "It seems to me we were destined to meet are you hungry? I know I am" he asked I replied with simply " I could eat" We held hands he kissed me on my nose It's been 25 years and we haven't let go.
