Eight Encounters, Part 1

It had been some time since Sara saw Rheem. He looked the same. His tall and slender frame with mysterious hazel eyes that scan up and down in an instant had not changed a bit. He was a beautiful man who always possessed a gentle embrace with a warm smile. Sara thought, "Why am I not attracted to this fine specimen of a man?" She knew the answer as Rheem moved closer to offer a hug and say hello. The forward lean in his body exposed the blindsided bodacious blonde accompanying him. "Hello." Sara mustered out before Rheem had the chance to speak. Doting that same bright smile, Rheem replied, "Ms. Thing how have you been?" Sara, undelistured by his need to seem authentic, replied, "Please remind me of your name as it has seemingly escaped me this very moment." Rheem seemed taken aback at her stated lack of recollection. "Rheem," he replied loosening his smile and the glean in his eyes. "Yes," she said. "I knew you seemed familiar to me." Continuing her theatrics, Sara asked, as she extended a far off handshake toward the slightly older woman, "Is this beautiful lady your wife?" Regaining his composure and his smile, Rheem responded, "She may possibly be." Sara lifted her hand to opt for a hug instead. Holding the woman tightly, Sara asked her for her name while never letting go her grip. The woman replied uncomfortably, "Sarah with an 'h' for heavenly," as she dusted off the embrace. Sara responded quickly with a slightly disappointed whisper, "Indeed." "Take care Rheem," was offered by Sara to note a final goodbye as she continued her course.
