Earth, Wind, Water And Fire

Long time ago, two lovers ruled the World. The soil or dirt, commonly known as the Earth, was loved dearly by a very hardworking element Fire. They are the first lovers in the universe living in a stationary location. The Earth, being the female one, is the most beautiful of all creations. It has all the live creations ever made. The Fire, the male and only lover of Earth, is full of brisk, so dynamic and keeps the Earth warm and loved all the time. Fire never lived with Earth on the ground where Earth stands, but rather underneath her. Whenever Earth wants to see Fire, she goes near the crater of a volcano. She peeks above the crater and praises Fire for its hard work and dynamism. Fire inside the volcano actually lives deeper than the Earth's crust, so deep. Fire notices Earth's visit immediately whenever she peeks at him. And sometimes when Fire is so bored and missing Earth so much, Fire underneath her crust breaks one portion of the dry ground wide open. From that manifestation, Earth knows that Fire is missing her a lot. Fire invited Earth many times in his kingdom though Earth cannot accept the many invitations no matter how much Fire means to her. Fire understood what Earth meant because if Earth enters his world, instantly she will dissolve in the high temperature of the place. Earth promised Fire that he is the only one in her heart forever. A thousand years passed, Earth living alone on the ground, her beauty was captured by the Wind and the Water. The Water is the silent one of the two who first courted Earth, but was rejected. The Wind, being the aggressive one, tried to impress Earth by bringing tornado, hurricane and gales whenever Rain from the skies appears. The Earth said to the Wind, "You are destroying everything around me. And you are hurting me too!" The Wind realized his fault and instead decided to offer cool, fresh air for Earth from morning till night each day. The Water saw everything. He is not jealous because the Water, represented by the seas, oceans, and brooks, knows that it is only Fire that Earth loves and keeps in her heart. The Wind didn't know that Fire already owns Earth's heart long time ago. And so the Wind kept on courting Earth, pleasing her with everything he can offer. The Water is silent, but his silence was not ignored by Earth. Earth asked Water and said, "Why do you look sad?... Don't ever think that I don't need you. It is from you that almost all creations only exist because of you. You water everything and with your might I am surviving too. All the trees, plants, crops and animals are beautiful everyday because of you. You are helping everybody that keeps the balance of everything around." Water never thought of the good things he has done and still doing for the many creations around him, depending on him. And because of what he heard from Earth, his love for her grew fonder. The Wind saw the Water talking to Earth. The Wind was jealous and challenged Water to a fight to win Earth's heart. For two days, the Wind and the Water contested during the hours while Earth is sleeping. Earth got mad because she felt there is rivalry between the two. For many days, Earth was in full silence and didn't talk to the two. One day, a tsunamis came in -- moving the land, seas, oceans and everywhere where the Wind plays and stays. Everything was ravaged. The Wind and the Water were blamed for creating such a mess. But the two denied what they're being accused of. The fury and outburst was created from underneath, reminding Earth of the Fire's lost love. Fire will never hurt Earth in any way because of his true and everlasting love for her. He will never use earthquakes and volcanic eruptions to destroy everything that Earth is keeping and protecting around her. Earth recalled her spoken word to Fire. She wept for a long time and stayed silent forever.
