Hallowed Reverberation:
From the corridors of time,
Comes an eerie echo from the past:
“Where did I come from, where will I go?
Is this just a moment in time, or a moment of eternity?
“There is a hidden ancient portal, Where travelers go,
Which comes upon them, when they do not know.
In this fierce, and harrowing expedition,
Comes their final immersion, into their final mission.”
CHAPTER ONE
A Time Travel Turn of Events
Although close in proximity, and brushing side by side, neither David, nor his Dad, felt they truly knew the real ones inside, but the changing of this started, when going for a walk outside, in the finding of souls, where each got to be together, speaking as they chose. And in this life’s mission, one purposed from before, wherein a transformative portal began to open, was found a miracle. First, small, when words were exchanged, and later, games played and won, on the battle front.
The game now at hand, was a board game, and tradition among the Brown family, called, Risk. However, David and his Dad were playing this game digitally, on his Nintendo Switch 2. This, to have a quicker setup, and enjoy a more fun interface. The game Risk was fitly named, as a banner of making peace, through war, among the peril of friends.
While playing and enjoying their love and learning of the game, magically evolving in their relationship, a strange, physiological portal began to open. It soon became wider, and to glow of purple and orange.
Soon, it became big enough, and powerful enough, that it began to slowly pull the two inside.
David and his Dad were so shocked and surprised, fixated on the brilliance of this beautiful anomaly, with circulating colors swirling around them, that they were perplexed by the very opening of this rift, and they could neither flee, nor blink. For the thought of this never entered their minds. They just sat there stupefied, and watched, as it began to grow in size and powerful strength. The reality of their present state, then began to hit them both like a train wreck. As they were being brought into this brilliant opulence, David and his Dad both began to scream aloud, “Aaaaah!”
This shiny, energetic field of travel portal, began to pull them in so fully, that it began its fierce transformative process to their bodies, overwhelming their delicate systems. They were now fully morphed, melded, and unglued, Shortly thereafter, being atomically brought down in size, and then put back together, reinstated, now teleported to somewhere, sometime, entirely new and different, and it knocked them out.
Because they had never at any time experienced this strange, curious phenomena before, they were rendered unconscious. For they had been metabolically unglued, shrank, and then put back together in a much smaller size, now in which they were brought inside, and literally living in, David’s Nintendo Switch 2.
After successfully crossing through, in this magical portal, while still recovering from their mode of transportation, on a grassy green hill, by a small stream, another traveler came by, who was a self-proclaimed caretaker, and steward of this conduit, for all users who travel, and become entities inside their very own gaming systems.
He had come, and seeing them rendered unconscious, left them specifically here, where he knew they’d be somewhat safer, than down in the valley, where their mighty war was taking place. They had been playing Risk, a world war domination game, and because it was so dangerous in person, He brought them there, on a hill, overlooking the battles. Then he traveled away, faster than the speed of sound, a speed if which maxed out on a larger scale, could reverse the force of gravity.
To David and his Dad, this curious being was only seen and remembered, as a blueish blur.
Now, as they restlessly arose from their wounded, wearied, and troubled sleep, they slowly began to realize their surroundings.
To their greatest amazement and horror, they were now fully awake, and found themselves right inside a war zone, created by their own designs, just moments before, wherein their risk embattlements, which they had captained, and deployed, were now up close and personal, fighting it out in cruel and barbaric ways.
These wars were now in full force, and they could see down below, in their fields of fire, the horrors of war, as it deeply scarred, and utterly ravaged the terrain, like a predator of destruction had fallen upon the inhabitants, and devoured a carcass, of a creature of prey. And like a plague of desolation, it killed thousands in its wake.
David and his Dad had by choice, been deemed the human Captains of these, by utilizing, their system’s controllers, of their own malicious military. But after seeing the conflict from the inside, so up close and personal, and detesting the carnage and show of death all around, David and his Dad as their leaders, each then decided to send forth a cry for peace among their troops, pleading with them to stop the cause of the carnage and fighting.
The surreal experience of half believing, and half not understanding their own plight, of where they were, and how they got there, stirred in them the human need and thirst for peace, proving by experience, that the mercy in mankind, manifests more, during times of turmoil and traumatic times. Like a light working in them, to righteously hate evil, and want to do good, they had finally, yet hardly, put a stop to this war, and were able to call a truce between the troops. Now the troops, tanks, airships, and infantry, all broke pace, and gratefully returned to their own homes and families, set the pursue their other life ambitions.
Then, out from the last billow of smoke, when they thought they could finally have time to think, and try to understand this new and seemingly unreal reality, and to make some sense of it, they suddenly, for the second time, saw this blue creature of tremendous speed, now fully awake and aware this time, and they recognized him immediately.
“Are you Sonic?!” David asked excitedly!
“Yes, and I’m here to be your system guide. Anything you need help with, in traveling I mean, which means game hopping with my golden transport rings, I’m here to help!
This time they were very shocked to see that he was the actual, very, and literal Sonic the Hedgehog. The one in this local network at least.
“Do you know how many actual Sonics there are?” asked David.
“At least one in every console made, from the 90’s until today, and then some.” Sonic answered David.
Then, without a warning, he again took out a golden transportation ring from his brown bag, and placed it in front of them, saying, “This is not your final destination. You must now be taken to yet another strange game, AI selected, and downloaded, by the system controls, in which you may play, inside this wonderful game system’s electronic, digital world!”
This new opportunity, in which David and his Dad could start their own true, real-life adventure, mission, and quest, to acquire newly granted gifts, and use them for the benefit and blessing of their relationship, with one another. And it was perfectly suited for their personal needs, and circumstances.
For Sonic the keeper, knew that only those who had the absolute need, and were worthy of their very own redeeming adventures, could be sucked into their very own game systems, to draw it out, and make it be. Therefore, he knew, nothing doubting, that they were worthy indeed.
“You need only know my occupation, and how to call for me.
Everything else, you will learn in time.” said Sonic. “You may have this special whistle, which only I can hear, but you are only to blow it, when in the diarist of need. Then I can come, and help you with your requests.”
From the Past, Comes This
Unhallowed Reverberation:
The Future is far behind,
The past is yet to come.
Solve this history,
And you’ll understand this mystery…
“What’s the hierarchy here?
The Heavens which have no fear.
Who’s the matrix of eternity and space?
The One who took up all its place.”
CHAPTER TWO
Where Are We Dad? I Dino!
Now, passing through this portal type once again, this time falling from the skies, and flailing their arms and legs all about, the two fell through an atmosphere surged with ashes and smoke, from a consuming nearby mountainous volcano.
As it turns out, both David and his Dad, needed a particular climate and environment, of a newer land and time, one fresh and new, which had not afore beheld mankind.
One wherein they could be tested and tried, in the world and time of the dinosaurs, even in their digital age. An age when the Earth and all her creations were new, and the days of life were longer. A time when creatures had a longer life span, and all the terrain was more lush and beautifully hostile. A time in which they would have to prove themselves in the very thing which drove them apart.
To have the ultimate testing grounds of rigorous relationships, gritty goodness, and conquering cares, in the pursuit of trying a true and precious friendship, to unite, and thus survive and thrive in this journey of mighty metamorphosis, and challenging change.
As they quickly descended, there was also a curious, playful, hungry troop of Pteranodons, swooping nearby, attempting to feed on some prehistoric fish, from a trio of previously pristine pools of deep water below. This water source had been pure and rich, until the time they were besieged by the ashes from the lava and magma Mount.
This world was an early empire, ruled by the likes of the mighty killers, known as the T-Rex, the Deinosuchus, and the king of the water, the Spinosaurus.
A new world, which could help them unveil and accomplish their mission, which at last, would redeem, and lead them safely back to their true home and family. Family that would miss them terribly, until they were finally found again.
This magical game and quest which lay before them, was played and spectated by many other outside online users, and was called, Escape from Jurassic World. This game was created by a legendary man who had first discovered this inside Phenomenon through his own portal experiences when he was a boy, and upon returning from his own game, he sought out opportunities to further provide other users, their own adventures in their very own gaming systems, to learn and grow. His name, was Edmund.
The Game was not easy, nor an ordinary test, for there were many tar pits, poisonous plants, predatory dinosaurs, and other perils, plus the lack of immediate proper food and shelter.
It was a sight for both David and his Dad’s shocked eyes and scared hearts to behold, as they both plummeted nearer and nearer its surface scenery.
David and his Dad were both screaming, mortally affrighted, as they awkwardly fell from the sky, somehow neither really fathoming in the least, what was actually happening, and was shortly about to occur.
When the committing of volcanic explosive ashes from the land’s center core emitted, it intermittently filled these pools with ashes, causing impurities in this once, richly, refreshing water source.
Above these pools, were three precious, cool and minerally robust waterfalls, fountains cascading over rocky crags of now smoothed stones, forming a backdrop of greenery and flower plant life, which hid underneath the back of the waterfall’s constant rolling of rich and rushing water. Within the rocky crevasses, were many safe homes for smaller adapt dwelling creatures and mini mammals. These sweet bodies of nectar-like, life-giving water, provided obligatory sustenance for all dinosaurs, mammals and other creatures and insects, including those which dwelt in the water and sky.
With the suffering of species, in consequence of this volcanic movement, many remaining specimens, determined to hold their place, lived close to these waters, fearing that in their absence, they would lose their spot to the cleanest of water.
With these natural pollutions, coming upon portions of the earth from time to time, both polluting, pollinating, and then replenishing the earth, at the current time, only the oldest of dinosaurs, remembers having a local climate clear of such dark debris.
However, with many dinosaur species among and around these pools, and its sizable stream outlet.
They had both just been sitting comfortably together at David’s Nintendo Switch, playing an enchanting game of Risk, when all of the sudden, they unknowingly awoke from a semi unconscious state into their RISK game, and then after this, were suddenly beamed into an epic free-fall, down to a place and time completely foreign to them.
David’s Dad was in utter shock, for fear of heights and sky diving were his greatest phobias, which now was a sudden reality.
David and his Dad might have preferred sudden death by hitting down onto solid ground, to all that was about to happen, but as time would tell, David and his Dad would truly see they would need each other in the most beautiful of ways, to help each other discover something so amazing, that they could not have done without one another. In other words, their relationship was a symbiotic one, even as birds need their wings to fly.
Along this riverbank, which was fed from the pools, were strewn many bones of dinosaurs, now long gone from life, most likely eaten by water dwelling creatures such as the deinosuchus, or the Spinosaurus, as they tried to drink at water’s edge.
Then, landing explosively into the creature occupied waters of the largest of these dynamic prehistoric pools, right below the largest waterfall, David, and his Dad both came up gargling and sputtering out dinosaur water.
Realizing they both needed each other, they immediately yelled out, “Help!”
Their second action was to swim frantically over to the land, where they ran to each other, and embraced.
“Where are we?!” cried Dad, “Is this a dream?!”
“I don’t know! What should we do Dad?!” said David.
“First, let’s try to find some safety,” said David’s Dad, “I don’t trust these dinosaurs. We could be eaten in an instant. Then we can try to figure all of this out, with these many creatures around!”
“I don’t even know if I’m dreaming.” said David.
“Me too!” David’s Dad agreed.
Then, out of nowhere, a bird like creature, the size of a wild turkey, jumped up at them! “Run!!” David yelled.
“It is going to eat us!!” shouted David, scared and excited to see a real Velociraptor.
After a few lengths and paces of running away from the velociraptor, Dad looked back to see its progress of hunting them down.
“Wait!” he called to David, “It’s not even chasing us!”
After studying the Velociraptor’s actions, David’s Dad stated, “I know it sounds crazy, but I think the Velociraptor is wanting to show us something. It could have already easily caught us, and torn us to pieces.”
“Yes, but we can’t take any chances.” said David, having seen too many Jurassic Park and World movies.
“You’re right David, but look, it almost looks as if it’s motioning to us to follow it. You have even said that real dinosaurs are much smarter than people might think.”
Then, thinking about it, he says to his son, “If we are going to survive in this new and dangerous world, we might need to have an ally. Maybe we can even find one in such an unlikely creature.”
“Yes, but let’s be very careful Dad.”
“Yes, we will.” said his Dad, “I don’t know how we got here, or how this is even possible, but we’ve got to stick together, and find a way home. Mom, and your brother and sister will be very worried about us.”
“There must be a way, or else how could we have gotten here in the first place?” said David.
Then immediately, the Velociraptor repeatedly pointed his head to follow him towards a spot of ground around a bend of trees.
Cautiously, David and his Dad followed their hopefully very new friend around the bend, and with this, hoped things might become a little better. Yet, they were still ready to try to defend themselves if needed, should it become necessary.
The Velociraptor led them to a spot covered by some rocky outcroppings, which were easy to hide in, and were away from the other dinosaurs. It was a spot too small for the greater sized predators to reach.
Then, having looked around, both feeling very depleted from their constant adrenaline and fears, they were both very hungry and exhausted.
David was the first to say what was on both of their minds.
“Dad, let’s see if we can find some food. I’m hungry.”
Then, upon searching around a small pond just beyond their safety spot, they found a few trees with a bunch of large yellow fruits on them.
“I hope these are safe for us to eat.” said his Dad.
David’s Dad found a straight stick, and with it, knocked down a single fruit.
“They look very good!” said David.
Then, upon testing a piece out with a small bite, and finding it to be good, the two filled their empty bellies with these sweet, large guava-like fruits.
Then, looking into the pond, David and his Dad saw some prehistoric fish.
“I have my pocket-knife with me!” said David.
“Perfect!” said Dad.
Then, David used the stick his Dad had, and carved the end thereof sharp, for the spearing of fish.
“Great work David!” said his Dad.
Then suddenly, the Velociraptor returned, again beckoning to them.
“Let’s follow him again Dad,” said David, “he might have somewhere better for us to go.”
“You might be right. So far he’s led us true.” agreed David’s Dad.
Then, not far, and hidden perfectly away from any properly frequented paths, behind some brush, and overhanging leafy vines and foliage, the velociraptor parted the greenery, and went inside.
David and his Dad now hesitantly followed, a little heightened in caution, but also in curiosity, and soon they began to find this new experience to be almost adventurous.
Seeing their new friend to remain docile, and no other dinosaurs around, the two decided this would be a safe place for them to dwell for tonight.
As it turned out, no one but their velociraptor friend, and themselves knew about this space, yet what they did not know, was that this very special Velociraptor friend, who was instrumental in their newfound food and safety, was also meant to help them in both their personal quests, to make and shape their new relationship with each other, and help them succeed on their pathway and journey home, wherever it led.
The Wheels of Time Are Turning.
A Message From The Leader Comes:
This is a race against humanity and dinosaurs.
One species becomes extinct, one egg at a time.
From the halls of heaven,
Comes this momentous refrain.
“Duty calls from the matrix of morality.
A speeding of space and time, from the visions of eternity.
Perform your calling with love, and the three period vectors,
Will forever be one.”
