Broken World
See this picture? ( image is of a starving child,a living skeleton. Very alarming.) This image of suffering has lead many to say that the God of the Bible does not exist. How can a all knowing and all powerful God, allow this suffering to happen? Well my friends, the answer is simple, but not excepted,because it place indirect responsible on each of us. First, we must ask our selves what is the cause of the suffering of this child? The answer, lack of food and medicine. What is stopping the flow of needed resources? Simple,sin! What is the responsible sin ? Selfishness. This sin is the root of most evil. This sin is the root of war, that destroys the land. Sin of greed , government selling fertile land that could produce crop for food, are sold to strip mining companies. When outsider try to relieve suffering but providing food to the starving, it does e not reach the needed. Why? Sin, of lust for power, Gangster war lords will steal the resources by armed force,then sell the commodity to the highest bidder. So, how you ask why doesn't God do any thing about it. God has given every person the knowledge of good and evil, He also gave every individual person a free will. So no one can live in this world with out touching other people's live. So the question is? Is their a loving, caring, all knowing, in full control, God out their? The answer is yes. Is their such thing as sin? Yes, this picture proves the point. The good news is we are all just passing through this broken world. God is allowing this broken world to exist because the human race has been made n the image of God, we are not robots, nor animals, the world is suffering under action committed by rebellion against our creator. Jesus gave His life on a cross that sin was dealt with, and through a relation ship with Him,we have the power to turn away from a life of destruction, and one day be removed from a broken world, and place in a knew creation where the power of sin no longer exists. If this is true. When we come to Christ, why aren't we taken out of this broken world? The reason is simple. We are here to leader other to the truth so that they may have the same privilege to decide to get off the sinking ship and clime aboard God's life boat.
