Best Friends
It didn't matter where she layed her head something would always interrupt her chance to nap.
Take today for instance. She tried to find just the right way to lay her head in bed when suddenly she heard a noise outside.
Forget relaxing. She had to investigate.
She ran as quickly as she could to the door, and just as she hoped would happen, it opened. There he was. Her best friend. Her most favorite person in the whole world !
At least in her world !
Her world consisted of spending most of the day alone in the house. She would have dinner shortly after he arrived home. After eating they would both go for a walk, She loved those walks. Having him all to herself, and him talking just to her. It made her shiver with excitement everytime.When they got back to the house she would settle in his arms on the couch and they would watch TV. As darkness covered the skies outside he would close the curtains. This was the signal it was bedtime. Oh how she wanted to cuddle up close to him in that big big bed of his. But instead she was chaperoned to her caged bed ! Thankfully the door is always left opened. She would have loved to be right beside her most favorite person.
