A Ripple

A ripple in a pond is like life. When you interact with anything on earth you create a ripple. A breath a smile a touch a look a turn of your body a follicle of hair dropping a skin cell falling from you. If you could see how far your actions go when any of these happen what would you see? How far would you want to see? Ok now you are thinking. Your existence is a mere blink of an eye. How is your reaction toward things you do not like going to affect just yourself or everyone around you? You have been told at some point in your life to think before you speak. The next word that comes out or your mouth when you talk to someone will be what? A ripple that you see. I was once told or heard somewhere what you see stays with you for life. The mind stores these images and can affect what you do. When your grandparents or mom & dad say close your eyes it is for a very good reason. The images you see through out your life can and will cause you to make choices & this is part of that little ripple. The ripples can be so small in life but cause people to  change what they do.

The main point here is what do you want to happen/play out in this life? You know for a fact that what you do affects the whole universe.  I say this because you know that it does. Your senses tell you things that you do not realize are going on. In other words you can sense that ripple happening. People think before you do anything because everyone wants to feel something. Make your ripple count for something good. You only have one life with many ripples to create. May all of your ripples in life be kind to every other ripple.

Good write! I'd hope we'd all want to see as far as we could where those ripples ride out and acknowledge our stunning interdependence. My take on this is my poem "Rivers".
